I have just one question. How do you get all you need from a raw food diet nutritionally? Like proteins, carbs etc. Is fish allowed, providing that it is not cooked(?raw?)?? What does your typical diet consist of?? (Breakfast, lunch and supper) Sage10

Chances are that you'll only get good stuff from Waoira because, Like Sunshine said, they have a patent on their method of processing it. Waoira's theory is taht zeolite in it's natural state picks up impurities from it's surrounding area already and would therefore already have metals/toxins in it's "cage" if you take it in it's purely natural form. What Waoira does is remove these imp

I am going to start juicing apples so long to prepare myself for an eventual jucie fast. i have also heard that it is critical to maintain levels of sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium while dong a juice fast and it could be potentially hazardous to your health if you do not. I am going to try and juice beetroot, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach and some celery as well in the meantime.

Greenie, I ahve eeb phoning around to find someone who can supervise a fast for me. I also cam eacross something on the net called FCI which is supposed to be very good for helping people conduct extremely long juice fasts. They also have a vegetable broth which is supposed to help you maintain your levels of sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium but the programme is rather expensive. And

Hey greenie, Thanks for that link. It is just that I have heard some amazing things about juices and the healing power of juice fasts. I don't know how much of it is true and how much is not but it is definitely beneficial at the very least(if done properly). I read through that thread and in there one poster stated that it is possible to remove an exponential amount of toxic substances fr

I get the idea of freeing up your digestive system so that the body has more energy to deal with other issues ike toxicity etc. And that is what I am aiming to do eventually. I got my centrifugal juicer recently and started juicing. I didn't get much juice per fruit/veg though. And I made a big mistake... I juiced both apples and carrots in one but I know now that I must have some reaction

ok thanks, I got my hands on a centrifugal juicer in the meantime. I am going to try and get a masticating one soon if this works out for me. Do you know of any recipes that I can use in the meantime(with a centrifugal juicer)?

OK, I think I get it now. In the meantime, I am slowly reducing all the other things that I eat ( meat etc.). But in preparation for a juice fast that my practitioner will oversee, could i juice for most of the day and only eat one solid meal? would that be of benefit? Also, if I do happen to consume juices with or after meals am I still getting the necesary nutrients in usable form? My di

I think I get it , I had no idea that cooked foods contained so many toxins. Just makes me wonder if I am not suffering with the long term effects of a cooked/processed diet. Some more noob questions to follow. how exactly do you manage being 100 % raw? DO you not eat vegetables or are they only consumed after being juiced? I guess meat is out of the question but I am very sensitive to nuts a

I just checked it out and I saw two main types of juicers available. I have seen centrifugal juicers and masticating juicers. Masticating juicers being far more expensive. Which one would you recommend and what are the differences?

JJ, What would be the main differences bewteen the cheap juicers and the good quality ones? What sort of benefits do the good quality ones provide that I am missing out on with the less expensive brands?

Also, when my blood was drawn. it looked like gunk coming out and it didn't even want to flow properly. Does juice fasting really increase haemoglobin count? What other benefits does juice fasting have? Do I get the enzymes needed for digestion? How does it aid detox and how long does this process take? At the very least, I want to get to a state where my blood count is significantly hi

JJ, I understand your logic about building reserve nutrients in the meantime and that is the way I feel about the subject too but I have to add that no matter how much I seem to eat, I am continually losing weight. So waiting to build reserves in my case, could deplete me even more. That is my main concern right now. And with regards to Parasite Cleanses. would it be best to do one before

Hey all I have decided that I am going to begin a a raw food diet, juice fast and combine it with NCD zeolite to heal my illness. I am in a rather poor state of health and I want to do everything I can to help heal myself. But I need some motivation as I have tried many things in the past and nothing has REALLY worked. I am also severely underweight and I am not assimilating my nutrients p

I m new to juicing but I have been diong some reading on the subject and I have finally decided that I am going to beginn juicing and do a juice fast to help my supposedly 'incurable' illness. but I am very new to this and, needless to say, I do not know alot about juicing but I am going to try it anyway. There is a definite link between my condition and toxicity. and hopefully, juicing will

Hey I was doing some shopping for a juicer ( very difficult in my current state mind you). And I came across something called a liquidizer. Is this the same thing as a juicer or is a juicer a totaly different thing?

hey thanks for that. Yeah, I see your point. I definitely want to do something to imporve my health as my system has been up and down lately and I haven't slept in a while. And I REALLY mean a while. I guess I'll try that out first but I'm a bit impatient with regards to improving my state of health that's why I came here to enquire about fasting first.

Cool, I am glad that you are experiencing good results with it. Sunshine, What dose are you taking and how long before you noticed results? I cut my dose back considerably and have not had the exact same results so I want to know what is the minimum likely dose to have a beneficial effect... So I a can work with my budget a bit..

Hey greenie, That's great. They say that mercury can affect thyroid functioning as well. As it has been implicated in hypo and hyperthyroidism. Did you work your way up to that dosage and what did you start at? I guess what I am getting at is that I want to know what the minimum effective dosage was for you to notice results.

Hey, I think i get it now. To be very honest about this whole thing, that sort of deprivation doesn't seem to be quite healthy. But I suppose one thing I cannot dispute is first-hand experience from a number of people. Have you juice fasted for extended periods of time? If so, what was your experience like?( sounds like an idea for a new thread) Another thing, how would I disadvantage myse

Thanks for your help. I am going to try and get my hands on a juicer some time soon. There is on ething that I don' treally get about juice fasts. And that is that you get miniscule amounts of proteins and fats. Do I need to supplement these when juice fasting or should I leave them for that period? Also, with regards to enzymes. Raw foods contain them. But as far as supplementation goes, w

Hey, I want to juice mainly as a means of detoxification. I have heard that "solid" foods(so to speak) require many more digestive enzymes to change the nutrients into usable form. Enzymes that could otherwise be used for detoxification. Also, To get my energy levels up and to stop feeling so lethargic alot of the time.

Hey there, I am new to the idea of juicing foods, fruits etc. and I was wondering how I get started with this... I am unsure of things like 1) Can I use a normal blender or do I need a 'juicer' specifically? 2) What sort of fruits/vegetables are good for juicing? Or more importantly, which things should I look out for(are not suitable for juicing)? 3) Do I add water? or is purified

greenie, What I think the difference is between the powdered and the liquid form is that the powdered form works in the gut alone where as 60 % of the liquid form goes into the blood and remaining 40 % goes through the gut. Also, the liquid form has a patented method of processing the materials so that it is certified free of toxins etc. I also hear that in the liquid form because of the

From my understanding they use a muscle-testing/kinesiology method of testing. Somethng called the "O-ring" testing method. And although there are numerous studies which support that this is indeed a valid method of testing for certain toxins I am still VERY skeptical about this. And I don't think that any mainstream doctors( or even some naturopaths or dieticians) would regard its re

Sunshine, Thats really good news. I decided to get some as I found a distributor. it works really well for mental clarity and stuff. what I would really like to see though are clinical studies performed on humans which can support claims taht it enhances urinary and faecal mercury/heavy metal excretion.

Another thing that I don't realy get about cellular zeolite. They say that 40% goes into the gut and 60% into the blood. They have also stated that it is completely eliminated from your system every 6 hours. (some soures say 4-7 hours) . My question is, Can both of these statemnts be true if you do not have abowel movement within 6 hors of taking the prouct?? I don't see the logic.
