Hi, What would the best diet be for someone who has cancer ? I think lots of fresh vegtable juices, making sure you have enough calories and protein e.t.c. Does anyone know what juices you would need for this ? Any stories of people winning the war over cancer from raw foods ? Thanks, Paul

Thats great thanks, I have been eating raw for about 16 months 100% to start with, For a while i have had issues with staying 100% and also trying so many different ways of eating raw. The way i am eating or trying to now is quite new to me. I never thought of it like it is the cooked foods coming out of me that is making me tired, it always happens after a day of low calories so i put it d

Thanks everyone. I have been doing a lot of fasting and keeping my ''window'' of eating between 1-3 hours, it is helping. I have had a few days where i have only eaten = 400g of kale 4 tomatoes 50g of hemp seeds and 1 avocado for my main meal and i have had a green juice 30mins - 1hour before this meal, and i have actually felt good. But the next day i do have problems with energy levels and

The thing is 1 pound of leafy greens like kale is only 200 cals, Its difficult getting calories if not eating sweet fruit or high fat.

Hi, What do you do if you cant eat sweet fruit because of blood sugar issues And you can't eat lots of fat because it makes you feel bad (like the sweet fruit) What does that leave you with to survive in the raw food diet ? Take Care, Paul

Thats interesting Bryan, thanks. One + for potatoes is that you can really raise your calories eating potatoes, and they bulk you up and make you feel full, These are things i find difficult eating raw.

Thats great Madinah, very motivating actually, Im going to try it Its interesting that you work out in the gym on your fasting day, i have always beleived that a post workout meal was needed after working out. Do you eat a mixed diet on your eating days, fats and proteins and carbs ? Do you eat lots of calories to make up for the fasting days ?

Great thanks guys, I guess it is simple really if i get thirsty i will drink some water. Im a little concerned about the water i drink, its always tap water whick i put through a cheap filter, im sure its not the best, im worryied about it being acidic, i could just add a little bit of whaetgrass powder when i need a drink, that will make it alkaline, i think.

Thanks, Is dry fasting better than water fasting ? I prefer to dry fast i find it easier, but i do wake up the next day feeling a little dehydrated, which i guess is not good.

Thanks for the replys, I do want to try it, im not sure if i should ease into it or not. I do love the sound of eating once a day at lunch time or early afternoon and some juice before this and then dry fast untill the next day. Im doing this today and will do this all week and then i might jump into eating every other day.

Thanks for the replys, There is so much evidence out there that fasting is very good for us, will it be good long term every other day ? I think it will be as long as we eat enough calories nutrients e.t.c. on the days we do eat. Would just one meal a day have the same benefits ? im not sure. Would juicing fasting every other day have the same benifits ? i dont think so, BUT there would be adv

Hello, I am wondering if it would be good and healthy to eat every other day, so you let the body fast every other day. I think it may be very good for us as long as we keep ourselves hydrated, The fast will let our body clean its self , and saving on energy so it will slow down the aging process. And when we do come to eat our bodys will soak up all the healthy nutrients like a sponge. Al

He says what he eats - its all raw, salads, blended salads, vegtable juices some fruits and a few nuts. He also said that 100% raw food is the healthiest way to go, but some people might find it nessasry to eat some cooked foods or take some supplements, we are all individuals. And also, he has been raw vegan for 40 years and is a doctor and treats people every day and helps them back to

He said he stopped high fruit because it was not good for his blood sugar levels, He said its ok if your highly active like running marathons, But for ordinary people it is not the way to go. And also he said combining high fat and high fruit is even worst than just high fruit.

lol, so answer some of them then i agree that low calorie living is healthy and slows down the aging process. I just feel that people listening to the likes of richard blackman who claims to be a liquidarian for 5 or 6 years is not a good idea, no one that is in great health is doing what he claims to be doing. Eating mostly or ALL raw foods and getting all the nutrition you need from thos

He might well be full of it... Richard has been caught out on lies in the past, i know he was eating cooked vegan and bodybuilding in 2005, If he is living of just water than he is not healthy or even if he was just living of citris or melon juice he is not healthy. People have died from doing simular things, from starvatian.

hows it starving ? If your body is getting all the minerals vitamins and as much protein and fats as a normal raw vegan diet, hows that starving ? I thought it would be real good for you because your body isn't having to work very hard to digest the food.
