>I wonder... at the mystery of our nature that we choose such a rocky road !!!< Hi Lightform-- I'm curious how you feel that we personally chose this reality. I definitely know that I DID NOT choose this. I do feel, however, that people who ignore it in hopes that it will not transpire are probably hastening the day when it does indeed come to fruition. If you were at the beach and s

LOLs!!!! I've visited that website before and found it fascinating, but there are a lot of new ones I didn't see last time. This one really killed me: "A wheel of brie stuffed with chocolate and baked in a puff pastry."

I had one of those on my wrist once, and I did a 2 week juice fast of mostly vegetable juice; the thing just disappeared.

What is wrong with Codex Alimentarius? Sepp Hasslberger I have been observing Codex from a somewhat specialized angle - that of Codex attempts to regulate vitamin and mineral supplements, and many episodes of this are documented in articles on my site. Here is a search listing for some of those articles: http://www.communicationagents.com/sepp/GCsearch.html?cx=008587533012136122848%3Adjfs1

I've been thinking some more about this stuff, specifically my example of the bricks, which is a real world example, since we live in a city with a lot of brick sidewalks, and we frequently encounter missing bricks. Here's my connundrum. How do you respond when the only authority allowed to address your problem (in this case the city's DPW) shirks its responsibility over and over again? We've

I would have to wholeheartedly agree that all commercial salt, including Himalayan and Celtic, etc., is harmful. In my experience, it's never provided any benefit, and even a little causes unnatural thirst and water retention.

Jodi-- lol!!! Jonathan is kickin' and screamin' too! I love fall, especially on the days when it's breezy, the temperature is cool but not cold, and the sky is just the brightest, most intense blue with hardly a cloud-- sometimes it almost takes your breath away, it's so invigorating.

So last night I was on the phone for about an hour with my newfound cousin-- who turns out to be a wonderful, incredibly engaging and thoughtful individual whom I immediately felt like I had known and appreciated for years-- and I now have a wealth of funny, insightful and delightful anaecdotes as well as factual information about my dad. Turns out I chose a life partner whom I am told is almost

Got it, Lightform. (Yay! I'm not exactly a quick study.) Maybe one way to say it is that we should focus on building something new and positive rather than eliminating something that is negative? So for instance, when my husband worked for a few years to persuade our Traffic Dept. to put in signals for the blind (and eventually they did put several in, which was great), instead of pointing out th

> She isn't exactly turning a blind eye to What Is, but she is avoiding the pitfall of becoming personally invested in it.< Wonderful distinction! I totally agree. My point should have been that we shouldn't worry and fret, or get mad, but that there are times when we do have to observe and take action. Detachment seems to be the key element.

>to observe a thing which we judge as unpleasant, is to in some way reinforce or perpetuate its existance< Well, all I can say is that it occurs to me that we are living out this grand experiment right now in our very turbulent world, and since more and more people are jumping on the bandwagon and lending credence to this idea of avoiding looking at whatever is unpleasant.... I hope they

Wow! I found a close relative of my birth-father today! (I'm adopted.) I've been searching for information about my dad for years with only a name on a birth certificate. I've was under the false impression for many years that his name on my birth certificate might have just been a made-up name. But talking to his grandson, who knew my birth name (Bev) without my telling him, it's obvious his gra

I rarely actually call my friends up and get together with them. I find myself almost preferring to converse with them via e-mail, mainly because of time constraints. I find it's often enough for me just to get out of the house and experience the little bit of social interaction that automatically happens when I do my daily errands and grocery shopping. I do notice, though, that if I'm stuck in t

>What I'm meaning to say is, that IMO we aren't reliant on the mass consciousness in order to make changes within ourselves.< Well yeah! I guess that's a given. We can always make changes within ourselves, and especially if those changes are inspired ones, amazingly good things can happen. That's not what I'm alluding to though. Making changes within ourselves isn't necessarily going to

Yes, I think coco is right-- read them both, starting with 'The Celestine Prophesy' first. After I read 'The Tenth Insight," I'm going to buy the other book so I can find out how the whole story starts. I'm really, really enjoying what I'm reading; he certainly provides a lot of interesting insights and perspectives. I'm hoping when I'm done with both books I'll have that 'Ah ha!' feeling th

Ah ha! I knew you'd be asking that next! :-) I'm still reading the book, so I'm not totally sure what his concept is, but basically he seems to say that if enough of us change our consciosuness, we can change the paradigm, and begin to live from spirit and intuition instead of fear. It's all presented in story form, and I'm only halfway through the book; I'll give a better synopsis when I'm finis

Is the solution to E. coli contamination in spinach a scorched earth policy that only the biggest farms can follow? We don't think so, but that's just what corporate agribusiness is suggesting. Shortly after the E. coli outbreak in 2006, the "leafy greens" industry in California got together to try to fix its image, creating something called a marketing agreement for lettuce, spinach,

>25 years??? I sure hope it doesnt take that long.< Ha! I knew someone would read that and freak. :-) I'm massively healthier than I was when I started out 25 years or so ago on the raw path. I probably got rid of most of my toxins years ago---- maybe the core work took 10 years; I don't know for sure. (I had a lot of drugs -- medical kind, not hard drugs -- to get out of my system.)
