Those who can be 100 percent raw vegans should be commended. In the world we leave in now it is difficult to avoid eating or wearing animal products be it unintentionally. More than anything it is our general caring attitude towards nature and life that counts the most.

That is really bad. You are correct about the article. But still long term green juice fast is not good. Better short term water or dry fast.

Even without scientific evidence certain things do not make sense intuitively. Like high oil in the diet does not make sense to me for the simple reason that nature already provides food high in fat. High sodium does not either, there are many vegetables that are good source of sodium like beet, celery and carrots.

"Thus, both garlic and onion were evidenced here to have a promoting influence on the bioaccessibility of iron and zinc from food grains." But we are eating grains, what about raw food?

You could hardly find a group of people not eating a lot of junk. Just walk in the bars and streets of the major cities in the world. It would be interesting to know what the results of the study will be on those eating mostly raw food.

Could it be that all of their results are skewed because the people used in the sample are all on cooked and processed foods and most are sick.

Thanks for the videos, they are very well made but I could not find an explanation for the oil intake such as avocado plus olive oil. He does not explain that part or may be I could find it. He talks about his father, reconnecting with nature, yet oil does not fit in that return to nature.

".. I can't take the amount of peppercorns he puts in it but I can now take the amount of cayenne which he uses in the video" As Doug Graham would have said when was the last time humans were so excited eating a meal of cayenne peppers? Just because you can camouflage it with other foods does not make it a good food. The dish has too many ingredients. And avocado plus oil.

Great video Tavis is a great guy I thought he was all about drinking oil Now I like him. Lately we have been told that fruit is bad for you. Something so naturally beautiful is bad for our health ??

I am a member of gym and do exercise 2 hours a day about 5 times a week. I am about to get into hot yoga. I juice a lot of greens, sprouts, wheatgrass Most of my nuts are sprouted first, some fermented. Maybe I should increase the nuts in my diet but so far it works

Nature is fair and we should survive on local food without importing goji berries Nutrient rich local food such as onions, potatoes, grapes are just around the block. And it is not just the food, it is the terrain, the digestive system.

Juice fast can work the problem here is that they are only drinking green juices. What about root vegetables juices? Even greens need to be rotated. "Goitrogens in kale and other brassicas can interfere with thyroid hormone function in susceptible individuals. Oxalic acid in spinach can be problematic for people who are prone to kidney stone formation."

But massive amount of juices may not be good for you Green vegetables have anti nutrients. Pushing massive amount of anti nutrients into your body is not optimal. It hurt your system when you are not eating anything else to counterbalance the anti nutrients. It is better to water fast or dry fast few days a month.
