Fresh, #1 and 2 are correct. 1. If all the centenarians in the world nowadays eat cooked food and some '' junk processed food '', what does that prove? The fact that a few people succeed on any type of diet is not proof that the same diet will work for everyone when most of the people are not doing well on that diet. If you are going to proffer your specific diet as the universal diet the

Animals have no constant source of readily available food supply like humans do - they can't go shopping and bring bags full of food home and leave it in the fridge. They don't sit down to 2 or 3 big meals a day and eat 15 bananas after a tiring day. They graze and eat what they can get. They don't have jobs to go to. They don't use public transport or cars so let's stop this idiotic comparison t

In nature there are no orchards with manicured lawns and endless rows of mangoes trees, fig trees or durians. Those were developed afterwards. The only realistic option would have been tropical Africa, Asia or South America. In those instances you would have to be climbing up trees and on branches and competing with the apes for the high level fruit - as well as the birds, the worms and other ins

How is it that John hasn't done a video on dental health? He is always having these experts on and saying so and so is a 20 year raw foodist and asks them questions. Whenever I see him asking them questions and I look at their '' beautiful '' teeth I wonder why he doesn't ask them about their teeth and if they are real or implants? How is their dental health and what advice would they give and w

Iandthou, are you assuming that at one point humans as we know it ate an all raw diet. If so, what was their diet and where did they live? Or do you believe God created man and put them in the tropics only? What about people living in temperate zones where there is snow? Did they hibernate all winter in caves and not eat? A far more plausible answer is that an alien far more advanced socie

So a raw foodist now is someone who doesn't eat cooked foods, but can drink as much cooked stuff as he likes! As for the gallon of sugar cane juice, I've had fresh sugar cane juice on numerous occasions and I always ask for lots of ice to dilute it when they make it - too too sweet. I'm no expert on sugar cane juice ( is there one here? ), but have had enough experience to know it's basical

Those studies have been around for years, but you can't take things in isolation. Those people lived in a different world from what most of us live in.They grew most of their own food, or it was all locally grown in rich soil. They didn't buy old nutrient poor food picked early, or have to buy wilted vegies. They also had good genetics passed down the line as they didn't sit in front of tv'

La Veronique, there is a thread about this video about 3 pages back and I will boost it to the top. I tried watching the video but it was too boring for me so I didn't get to that part, but the issue of hybridized fruit has been discussed before. Aside from a few diehards like Fresh and JR, more and more people are going easy on overdoing on the fruit for a number of reasons, even actively min

Before all the fruit '' junkies '' start attacking me, it's the title of a new John Kohler video on OK Raw - and a very good video at that. Highly recommended and very interesting, and I'm going to give his suggestions a go. John talks with Viktoras about raw diets and gives his views as he approaches 80.It's also a plug for a new book coming out, but they don't bring it up till the 20 minute

I've had black / chocolate sapote. It's a bit like a combination of thick sweet chocolate mousse and melted dark chocolate. Very rich when ripe and very yummy, but as all fruit it needs to be soft and ripe. It's not something you can eat more than one or two of at a time.

Hi John, Thanks for remembering me. That's what I have always said - we can only do the best that we can. I think juice feasts are great.

TSM, it's not about trying and failing, it's about warning newbies about any lasting damage that might be done so they are aware of all the facts. You only get one body in this lifetime! Some people end up having serious teeth issues from a too one sided fruit diet deficient in minerals. Also, 80/10/10 advises people to keep eating and stretching their stomachs. Once they find it doesn't work

I saw where NASA was going to make a special announcement this morning. I wonder if this was it? At $20 if it works as well in real life as in the ads then you've done well - considering they are also offering 2 for $20. I am grating carrots on a hand grater and have to BE careful not to lose half my fingers. Set the camera up when you give it your first go and show us the results.

It's great as a short term cleansing diet, but has a 99+% failure rate long term, so beware. It all sound so great in theory, but how many people are able to sustain themselves on it after the initial euphoria wears off.

Fresh, I agree. Usually John Kohler's videos are very very good, but this one was egregiously bad - so bad that I only managed to get to 18 minutes after my fourth attempt. Also, 1 hour 10 minutes is a long time, especially if it's a slow boring video from a non credible person. This person would have been better served to see his analyst to pour his heart out, as opposed to going on with his

Here in Sydney where I live the price is 3 or 4 times what you pay, so is too expensive to risk the big $$$'s for an unripe one. Enjoy.

Tai, where do you live, and where are the Jackfurit from? Years ago I lived in tropical North Queensland on a small organic farm and I had jackfruit straight off the tree, as well as some that fell on the ground overnight - a truly memorable experience. A bit like eating fruit salad, realLy really nice, with no latex. I think it's just one of those things with fruit being picked too early.

What would the bees want you to do? That is the question, not what humans want. If it's in the best interest of the bees, then you can always remove the honey / wax / honeycomb and give it away, or sell it and donate the $$$'s to charity. Not everyone is at your level of dietary enlightenment, and for many people to have natural unprocessed honey would be serving them well. AS Christ said,

I admire him and have respect for him as well, especially for being honest post the fact. Pity others weren't / aren't as honest as he is. That was one good thing about Harley, but just pointing out the fact that sometimes the reality doesn't quite match up with what we think is the ideal in this non perfect world we live in. For some of us all we can do is our best, even if it isn't good en

The Law of One seems to me to be the Law of Zero. The planet, nature and the natural wildlife is almost all gone - the Creator better hurry or there will be nothing to unite for. I don't believe in the Creator after the way he has allowed a beautiful planet to be destroyed. As for the so called meeting on the moon of 120 reps from 70 countries... pretty far fetched. Something that has made

At the moment I've dropped off the perch as far as politics is concerned - invested too much time and energy for zero return when I should have been focusing on getting my life right. If you're not in the loop in politics it's very hard to have any input. If your life is fine then it's ok to invest time and energy in politics. Here in Oz both sides are as corrupt as each other - not in direct cor

I've tried the nice approach with John, but he is totally, absolutely, implacably and irrevocably closed minded - it's impossible to have a conversation with him. Suvine, do you believe man landed on the moon, or is that another conspiracy? Whoever '' discovered '' the FEMA camps needs a gold medal for conspiracy theories. I think it's a lot of nonsense - and I'm open-minded to anything w

To quote JR, from his endless list of endless meaningless totally irrelevant quotes, I am going to misquote Mark Twain, '' the reports of JR's disappearance have been greatly exaggerated ''. He's probably down in his crypt trying to find the elixir of life for his hero Hitler. As Arnie said '' he'll be back ''. SUeZ. I don't think something as simple as being caught out being wrong would de

HH, you didn't address the points I was making. For some reason you have gone off on a tangent about '' noble savages ''. I never said the savages were noble, or weren't greedy, violent, belligerent or warlike. My point was that these '' ignoble savages '' had the means to cook food for endless thousands of years but that didn't destroy the planet . The only reason were are destroying the planet

John, your explanation of why believing in Reincarnation '' takes away our responsibility so that we can be the best we can be '' is exactly why your solution to the worlds problems does exactly the same and won't work. It's a fantasy to believe that everyone is going to eat 100% raw, and it's not going to happen. You may as well sit next to TSM and repeat over and over ''everyone should eat 100

I only watched 4 minutes as that's all I could take of the nonsense. Love all the plastic surgery on her face - at 47 why would you need so much plastic surgery? She looks like the Catwoman from New York. I expected someone like Elle Mcpherson or former Miss World Jennifer Hawkins who at 32 looks fantastic and natural. Has anyone seen her children, and are they real?

It's not ethical, and definitely cruel. If I was a horse I wouldn't want nails and metal fittings on my feet, and having to live with them day and night - imagine having to wear shoes 24/7 and never being able to take them off. I also wouldn't want to be carrying people around all day. And who wants to be neutered! Maybe the picture was accidentally cropped and the person had a wagon hitched

What's the difference between using a dehydrator or baking things at low heat in an oven? Nothing if you eat cooked food, but for people who still want to eat lightly cooked foods and claim that they are raw it soothes their conscience.
