"Starting the day with a green smoothie, a fruit-and-vegetable blend that can include kale or another leafy green would keep you fresh and energetic throughout the day." Same here! I will frequently start with a green smoothie. I will make enough to constantly drink throughout the morning. I have a job where I can do this, I realize not all are able to. Other than that, 2 or 3 ban

Orange & Lemons have oil in them - I don't believe that would be the best choice. Have you heard of dry shampooing? I've never tried it, but it does sound interesting. Have a look here for some info.

Raw food or not, people are still going to get sick. There are too many environmental factors at play, these days more than ever. Even if they live in the "cleanest" environment, the water there is still polluted, the air is still filled with many pollutants. I'm not so quick to blame it on the diet.

Interesting video - after watching that one, I clicked on the "No wash" video. What is your take on that one? She mentions that she doesn't even wash after workouts.

I would suggest looking for a Naturopathic doctor in your area for some guided info. in your particular case. 4 months is pretty young for anyone here to be giving nutritional advise to. In addition to that, I feel clay baths would be very helpful. Read through some of the information here.

I must say I view it as utter nonsense, no offense to Catholics on the board. Look at the sheeple crowds all standing there cheering at the Vatican...They have no clue WHO was chosen, just that someone was chosen & they are as happy as a pig in slop, cheering for an unknown "leader". Nothing like being a celebrity leader, lol....why we are suffering from that in this country

I just remembered - I had purchased a base years ago for a cell phone that would do this. It was like a speaker phone set-up, but it worked horribly because of the transmit/receive nature of cell phones. I suppose in 20 yrs. cancer rates will spike because of everyone radiating themselves with this "personal microwave" technology. I normally use corded earbuds & limit my use

Yeah kidraw - That "poor little defenseless boy" picture they always show grates on me. I suppose to be fair they should post a pic of Zimmerman at age 13 as well.

Let us know what you find. There are plenty of synthetic/rubber boots on the market, not sure what you really mean by "vegan" boots. I am assuming you mean "non-leather" construction.

How far do you want to keep the cellphone away from you during use? It sounds to me like you just need a corded headset/earbud-mic setup. I've seen them with 4' leads, not sure if that is enough distance for you.

Thanks banana who, I guess we'll continue to do research on this one. I am very un-trusting of anything the medical/dental establishment tells us. The nearest holistic dentist is something like 100+ miles away and has a LONG waiting list.

I'm so sick of THIS ADMINISTRATION.... snipped from Fox News - "Sen. Rand Paul declares victory after Attorney General Eric Holder sends letter in response to his 13-hour anti-drone filibuster assuring him the president cannot use a drone to kill a non-combatant American on US soil." I feel so much safer after reading this line... "...assuring him the president canno

Our dentist says our son's Wisdom teeth needs to come out & has scheduled the oral surgery about a month from now. I had mine out around age 23, but my older sister never had hers taken out. The dentist is telling us that if they are not removed, the way that they are positioned in his mouth, that it will possibly break a couple of molars & crowd the rest of the teeth out of position.

"If one threw out the evil parts of the bible (35 - 75 %) it would be a very good book." If we threw out the evil parts of the government (35 - 75 %) we would have a very good country! LOL - I couldn't resist. brome, alot of what you state is true, some is a bit misguided, IMO. To accurately reply to your post would obviously be a lengthy one, I have not the strength for that.

"Vegan Juice, I hope you at least continue to read this thread. I am a bit outspoken at times and use pretty strong language and so I appreciate you seeing beyond it." Sure, I'll continue to read & probably post as well. I just meant that I didn't want to come across as a "Bible Thumper", lol. It is easy to pick up that label, even if you just casually share your faith.

banana who, The Christian faith can seem offensive to many, I understand that, and I know that you meant no personal attack against my statement, no offense taken. Even though you & others may find many parts of Christianity obnoxious and arrogant...well, the Father's words do come across that way. Example: Exodus 20:5 "Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve t

When it comes to another person's choice, well, that just isn't any of my business. Where do people get off thinking that it is?" For me, abortion is the murder of an unborn child. Granted, still in

Oh Come on John Rose, I can understand if you choose not to believe the Bible - I am not sure what your position is really, but if you do believe the Bible, yet do not agree with the crucifixion, how does your belief square with this passage where Jesus was talking to the Father immediately before the event? Luke 22:42 - "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my

What about Jesus? Ever notice how he's an incredibly positive figure, yet everyone focuses on his horrible death? Wearing crosses to remember him is every bit as macabre and weird as it would be if people wore little rifle pendants to remember JFK. I don't really get into the whole "cross wearing" thing, and I don't really like to "dwell" on Jesus' death per se', but if you

The intolerance to other faiths shown by fundamentalist Protestants is not cool Christians are not supposed to be tolerant of other faiths. The Bible teaches to be a "radical" for Christ. It is offensive to some people, no doubt...but I'd rather go to Heaven. YMMV

Yep, I read both of those book plus the "Raw Power" book that he had a hand in creating. Because of recent questionable practices that David promotes, the use of Deer Antler being one of many, I kinda fell off his bandwagon. I guess what I'm saying is each of these guys/gals generally have something good to offer, but I'm not into following their teachings/recommendations to the &qu

You might want to check this guy out - I've followed him for awhile & I find him & his methods intriguing. He's off the grid/cabin/solar. I would like to be able to do that, but unless I would find a better/cheaper source of electricity, there's no way I could do it. Solar panels just aren't feasible yet, I'm not sure if they ever will be. For one person in a tiny "bug out&

"I wonder what would happen if you said you forgot to bring it with you." I could try that & then at the last minute say, of wait, it might be in my car. Don't know how that would play out. I may give it a shot. I'm also looking into getting tested in person instead of in a classroom setting. An individual might be more inclined to let the rule slide than an examiner in a &quo
