New to wheat grass. How do you deal with mosquitoes and wheat grass? Watering the tray seems to attract mosquitoes, which eggs may end up in the juice. Thanks

Hi. I wonder if I could get your opinion in this topic. I took milk thistle to work out the liver a little (but I did not have any know problems). Then I stopped going to ... as frequently as I used to. My stool became very infrequent, dark, hard, and like concentrated. This in turn created a chain reaction. Since I was taking lots of fiber with fruits and salads, the fiver had more time to fe

He said that raw fooders compensate cravings by endulging every night

THanks. It is not all at one time. It is over a 9 hour period and very slowly (after learning my lesson). I would say I drink about 8 bottles a day. I was used to buy bananas and eat them. Now I have to buy a box and wait till they ripen. So I need to buy a box a week in advance. I've never seen organic bananas. The ones I buy are: Dole Bananas Product of Honduras rainforest alliance Cert

Today I had my first experience with a coconut. It was parked on the refrigerator for two weeks. It came from a far oriental contry I don't remember and it had a white color. I cut that pupy as best as I could and drunk the water. Alleluya! This will save me in the food world. It tasted it very good. Then I spoon the inside and it was even better! wait a minute. This cannot be raw food legal!

Thanks. I drink about 6 bottles of water during the morning (17 fl oz each). Then the rest of the day I drink but little. Is that any good? Water is filling and it is like munching something. Another thing that I have discovered is a new stomach alergy towards mangos (painful). I've never had it before or knew about it. But then I was told that the mango was not ripe. So I've put another mango

What is your opinion on 'negative calorie food' and its role in raw foodism? For example, do you think that these types of food are what make people loose weight instead of a magical carbs-fat-prot diet? Thanks

I know a little bit about olive oil. You have to watch out for the labeled 'Italian oil' as it the biggest scam ever. The oil comes from like 20 different countries and it is blended in Italy. The downside is that the age of the oil from each country is different. So you drink stale oil. Good oil tastes floral. If it is not floral it is a blend of some type with a base of cheap staled oil. Hi I think that going raw has made me more sensitive to water intoxication In the link above they mention that marathon runners are more sensitive. This is counter intuitive problem to be aware of. I get stomach aches if I drink too fast.

I may add the following: Aren't juices extracted also? And if so, aren't they bad because they are not natural (not found on naturally)?

I read on some websites that vegetable oils are not good because they are not 'natural' (they need to be extracted). But also I read that omega 6 needs to be balanced with omega 3. And a rich source of omega 6 is vegetable oils. Is the advice to not eat vegetable oils bad? PS: I love olive oil on salads and it would be hard to give up.

Thanks. Do you think the only good thing about fish oil is the omega3? I think it makes me feel calmer and helps me with skin smoothness. I apologize for the basic Q. Would vegetable omega3 produce the same results? Thanks

Thanks Coco. I wasn't aware of the aquatic theory. I'll take a look. I think that the evolutionary theory tries to find what is healthy by looking at the previous stages of evolution and seeing what they ate. Thus, what they ate must be healthy because our body has adjusted to digesting that type of food over a long period of time. But according with this theory, wouldn't you also be able to find

Powerlifer, thanks for the long answer. It seems that people use the 80/10/10 diet to seek immediate cosmetic changes in their appearance. People focus on getting rid of all the fat and getting younger skin. But nobody ever talks about the changes made in the brain. Surely, if your whole body changes, the brain must also change somehow. What would be more important, brain health or body health
