But good appearance is what they preach. They keep comparing the fat appearance of the paleo diet people with the skinny appearance of the 811 diet people. geo Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It doesn't matter how a person looks for their > age. I may add that recent theories about human evolution suggest that humans evolved from eating cooked foods. Cooked foods pack more calories per volume and are easier to store/gather, thus they help to keep a constant source of energy for the brain to grow. The 811 diet is new and its long term effects are yet to be known. It does seem to be very good to loose fat.

To think that a single model diet is perfect for everybody is pretentious. Obviously, people who follow the diet will say is prefect so that they don't look dummies. I think it does help fat people to loose weight but in the long term, they start to show mental artifacts and a sense of knowing everything. For example, they think all diseases can be treated with the diet. They think all health ans

I agree. I've seen old people that spent lot of time under the sun and the skin looks similar. They look dry up. It doesn't help either if you don't have the fat to buffer the sun. On the pic, the right shoulder (left) looks a little cooked. He also seems to have somewhat strange eyes, almost like a skeleton head. Most important to me, I wonder how his brain mass has changed (brain should be almo

"The continuous-flow heart solves the biggest problem with artificial hearts: longevity. One little turbine like the ones Cohn showed me has been running continuously in a lab for eight years and shows no sign of wearing out. Another advantage is that it runs on a battery no bigger than a videocassette. The patient can wear it in a kind of shoulder holster—cumbersome, but not as bad as

well, that is in the uv light region, so if it is stored, watch out. Uv light could do damage.

I am puzzle by the graphs and what do they have to with health in water. An electrtomagnetic wave (radio, visible light, uv light, infrared heat, etc) can only be feflected, absorbed, or go throught. If it is absorbed by water, all it does is to raised the temperature of the water itself. Why would that be healthy?

If you do a fast (3-5 days) then you'll reset your cultural-foods mind cravings faster. I eat a ~1.5lb salad every day (with a little of everything) and that is the closest thing to my previous foods.

I noticed this when taking probiotic pills. A couple hours after the pill + meal and the gas level goes up. Maybe it is related.

Hey luvyuu, how long have you been doing raw food? I think mixing avocados with anything may create fermentation but not sure. I usually eat them all by themselves aor with fatty nuts. It is very difficult to point out the cause of these things. Another thing that I did was colonics. They will blow away anything inside (gas, yeast, anything) and will "reset" your GI track. It may

I feel great on a raw diet too. But one thing I noticed is that raw people tend to make of their diet one of the most important things in their life. Some look obsessed and think they world is against them. It is great to want to be healthy but there are other great things in life too. How would one of this persons feel if they got terminally ill? Isn't obsessing about health an irony since we al

They seem to have the extra edge over the home colonics. But they are not mutually exclusive. A person could choose to do both types.

I may add that with the colonic board you have complete control of the water. It comes with a pinching tool that goes around the plastic inlet tube. That means that you can prevent "bombs" (je je if that is what you mean by "intensive". If it did not have this control, you would be doing explosive bombs (first time). jeje

I've never had a "clinic" one. But I think the one done with a colonic board is real. The water goes deep deep. What would make a difference? My first one was the most intense one as I did not know what to expect and more was alert.

well, maybe after? When I went raw I also got tons of gas. I thought that raw people put up with that but now I know I was wrong. Not sure what made my body change but I think it was the speed. Some things I do now. I eat slowly. I take my time. I chew up as much as I can. I drink lots of water (more than normal). During the transition from gassy to no gassy, I did not change the type of

Gas comes from food fermenting inside you (lots of fiber). You need to speed up your bowel movements. Do this. Drink one bottle of water first thing out of bed. Drink a bottle of water before every meal. Done.

I've had 4 in 4 weeks time. I am new to raw and saw too many posts about this so I decided to get a colonic board. Is it invasive? Not at all. It comes with very small tips with holes at one end. What does it feel afterwards? You feel supper calm. The most shocking to me was to find out that somehow the dirt inside plays a role on yoor feelings. After I am done I feel mentally cleaned and r
