i like having shortish hair because it's practical cuz i can cut it myself every once in a while with some electric clippers, if im ever in a fight i don't have to worry much about the hair being grabbed or getting in my face, also don't have to fret about it getting caught in some kinda contraption like happens to peoples ties in sitcoms. for sporting activities, shorter hair is less of a thing
