Tai: <<Hi La Veronique, You can ask Sproutarian man how he gets long mung bean sprouts. I have the round plastic electric sprouter from Tribest that the Sprout man (now deceased; different from Sproutarian Man) used to make really long sprouts, but then I stopped using it because I don't like plastic.>> Good idea to go with glass instead of plastic. <<When I make

When they are drier they take a little longer to saturate so they take longer to sprout. Try moth beans for sprouts - they are my favorite. As they are drought resistant they are also excellent for growing in arid areas. Again, in my experience, they have a

This pig is lucky. It is in the hospital where the intention is that it will receive care. Other pigs' "destination" might look a wee bit different.

jtprindl <<The only issue I see with juicing sprouts is that you may lose much of the minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and phytochemicals in the fiber.>> The opposite also seems true. That a lot of the eminerals, amino acids, enzymes and phytochemicals are released into the juice itself and made for more ready and quicker absorption by the body. But, I see no reason to

The white like the sun is reflecting all of the light it has. It gives it away. That is a generialization, I must say.>> So, maybe if someone consumes enough concord grapes, they will turn i

They looked at four groups of vitamins and other phytochemicals – including vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta carotene — in 25 varieties of microgreens. The researchers found that leaves from nearly all of the microgr

sproutman Did a little research of my own..I see that sprouting produces an inverse relationship where the phytase level ( already inherent in the food) increases and the phytic acid decreases so I guess I answered one of my own questions lol I like the idea of sprouting because it reduces phytic acid and increases nutrients. I had some pea sprouts today... blended them with other veggi

Nettle leaf also supports liver function too, and the adrenal glands, thyroid, connective tissue, digestive system, removes uric acid, has anti-histamine properties through its rich quercetin phyto-nutrient content and finally>> anti-inflammatory properties.>> cool stuff!!

Why don't you just do an experiment to test out what can or can't happen? It can't hurt. Place the pineapple in a plastic bag with a pretty ripe banana. The ripe banana will continue to release high amounts of ethylene which is the gas responsible for ripening. This may trigger the green pineapple to also speed up its ripening process. The more ripe bananas you put in, the more ethyle
