Dear all, I had a question. My husband has been eating 75% raw food for a couple of months now and he has also completely quit dairy. He is having a LOT of diarrhea almost daily for about three weeks now. He went to a doctor (but did not explain his diet) and they said that there is nothing wrong with him. But here's my question: He has a green smoothie for breakfast and lunch (any greens a

Yes, I agree with the views presented. You need to set limits and your diet, I don't see how it is your boss's concern. Your work and your schedule and your skills etc are the only areas where he can "Monitor" progress, not your diet. I also have a friend who means well and I have not even told her about the raw foods diet that I do. But I just told her that I quit dairy and thats al

Now this month (also last one, but def better this month) it took about 28 days and it is lighter. No headache just a light headache before the period started. I had a question, does raw zucchini taste good with sauce? I tried to eat zucchini with some other veggies in my salad and didn't like it that much. But if I spiralize it and then add the wonderful raw sauce... I wonder, may be I will change my mind. Any way, yall like raw zucchini?

No I mean sproued lentils. Actually lentils should not be eater without sprouting/cooking. Since I don't "cook", I soak them in water for atleast 8 hours. Drain teh water and then make chutney. The lentils usually sprout in about 8 - 10 hours.

I am o positive, so is my mother. We have never had meat or eggs in our entire lives. I have never suffered from any physical or intellectual disabilities as a result of that. I have three children and have a masters degree. I do not believe that one (any blood type) has to eat meat. It is a preference rather than requirement/must. Just my opinion. Love and Peace Anu

All, I have a dumb qstion for you all... If I boil water and add some spices (like paprika, cumin, pepper powder etc - dry spices, no veggies/fruits) I need to do this to get that curried flavor into my soups. Then, when it is almost cool, add some salt and grated fresh veggies, do I have a raw soup or is it still "cooked' because I boiled water and spices? Can you please help? A

I find good raw lentils and beans at our Indian store. Any Indian groecries will have dry (raw) beans and lentil. I am posting a spicy sprouted lentil chutney in the recipes section now. (Traditionally, I fry teh lentils and chillies to make this chutney, but I wanted to try to make it raw. It is very close to the "cooked" chutney. Look in teh recipes section if you like Indian fo

I just realized I forgot to add the spicy curry recipe: Spicy potato curry (or any vegetable you like, such as eggplant, carrots or even apples) Cut potatoes (or any veg) into thin strips and leave in dehydrator until slighly brown and somewhat crispy. But not too crispy. teh curry should be soft not crunchy like chips. To the dehydrated potatoes (or vegetable) add the following: Onion p

God is good. Now, I would like to do 100% raw (which I already started about few weeks ago anyway, but go off and on). Thanks and I am in. Love Anu

Thanks all for your good suggestions. I did try the lemon water and it seems to help. Also, the acidity is reducing now. I will cut down on the nuts also. My green smoothies are just fruit and greens (got recipes from Alissa and Victoria's books/ online pages/ websites). I will continue with the raw diet and hope that the acidity will be under control and eventually go away Many Thanks to
