I noticed today that the Bragg.com site has finally been updated. The most notable change is the new product label. It shows the name BRAGG with the same two pictures of Paul & Patricia, but only Est. 1912. None of their first names, alleged academic titles, etc. remain as before. Much cleaner looking. " As to the brand/company's "establishment date" as "1912", I

BTW, the reason I questioned Patricia Bragg's health & perhaps the reason for the Bragg company sale, was a document filed with the California Secretary of State on March 7, 2019. (you can look up for yourself, it is a public record). It's a typed form, except for her signature, which is SO shakey, not even close to her signature in past filings. Therefore when I later saw that Ms. Boardman

I looked a little further into the Bragg company & found that a "Linda Boardman" is now the current Chief Executive Officer (this was Patricia's former title) of Bragg Live Food Products & has been since March of this year---according to Ms. Boardman's "Linked In" post. She apparently is associated with one of the new owner groups. Also, on September 17, 2019, the com

Yes, age 90 is a milestone indeed. She does have some longevity in her family background in that her father lived to age 88 (he died as a result of an accident), and her half-brother to his early 90ties as I recall. On the other hand, both her mother & (full) brother only lived to their mid 60ties. It will be interesting to see how the new ownership handles the company.

Could be The End of The Story, as far as Patricia Bragg goes. Don't know if it was noticed but Bragg Live Food Products was sold in June of this year to "an investment group", which included Katy Perry, singer/entertainer & her fiancée, actor Orlando Bloom. I'm wondering if Patricia has some health problems---anyone here know?

Sorry Tai, don't know if there's even anybody much left from Ann Wigmore's family who would know her younger history to chat with. I just reported on her alleged serious accident that SHOULD have existed somewhere in Middleboro's historical records and does not appear anywhere I've looked. What I did find from Middleboro's city directories, her father's draft WWI draft registration from 1917,

And, gee, maybe the horse & wagon Wigmore said she was driving when she went over the embankment & broke her legs (see "Why Suffer" by Ann Wigmore) magically morphed into a motorized truck when it came down the other end. Wow, now THAT would be a miracle!!

I don't think Wigmore's father had the "power" to hide her rather serious accident from the newspaper---that's IF it had actually occurred of course--- Why would/could he do that? I don't know whether he was" abusive". I do have several news clippings where he & her mother were in trouble with the law in Middleboro during Ann's growing up years there. During Prohi

Well if I knew a "well-known vegetarian" that told me that story I guess I'd check on details (a serious accident usually makes the local newspapers) to see if he/she has been smoking something or this "miracle" actually happened. I don't like to be conned. It seems that you don't care one way or other as long as the "sound-bite" is good.

Re: The Wigmore Story I just ran across my copy of the 2/14/1930 Middleboro newspaper account of the bakery truck accident that actually happened to Ann's father, & noticed how similar even the reporting words there were to Ann's version of her (alleged) accident story of the horse & buggy bakery delivery story was, as told in her book "Why Suffer?." But Ann Wigmore's "cure story" is pure B.S. as far as I can determine. As is my wont, I spent a lot of time researching it. The Middleboro, Mass. public library, where Ann lived with her family from circa 1923 until circa 1930 (approximately when she married Mr. Wigmore) has an unusual on-line breakdown of accidents of any type occurring to Middleboro residents by alphabetical name

Reading a little further on Mr. Kordich, it seems that he & his wife lost their money in the 2008 financial calamity, & had to move from California to Washington State for a simpler/less expensive life style. Maybe that was the reason for the go-fund-me account for burial/memorial expenses for him. Or something.

According to a series of interviews Kordich gave several years ago, his father, who was a fisherman, died at "over 103", and his mother shortly after, at age 97. Out of curiousity, I did a little background on him, and he primarily grew up in the San Diego, California area, and was apparently on a football scholarship to the University of California, Los Angeles, where he played seco

Unless somebody can produce a copy of his Arizona Death Certificate--which, unfortunately is only released to public view 50 years after death in that State--nobody has a clue as to how healthy or unhealthy Walker was when he died. I've already tried the autopsy route, and was unsuccessful in that Arizona Public Health Records do not show that an autopsy was performed on anybody named Norman W.

BTW, I recently did more up-to-date back-checking on the NWW "birth story". I found a copy of Walker's mother's May 3, 1924 passport application on-line from when she & one of her daughters returned to Europe on a visit. According to her application, she was born on March 1, 1857 in Colmsburgh, Scotland, married Rev. Robert Walker, Norman's father, on March 7, 1882, & was wido

My husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1982 at age 54. He had tumor removal, followed by radiation for 6 weeks. Never had a recurrence of cancer except for a basal cell cancer on his face, and that's been over 10 years ago. He had his 88th birthday on May 30. Eats anything & everything---nothing seems to affect him. Even has every one of his teeth, with gums in great shape, w

Very interesting RP, especially since I wrote it maybe 6 or seven years ago. As a minor epilogue to the Walker Family doings: Until I much later received a copy of Lydia Hannah Walker's March 1934 newspaper obituary (this would be NWW's mother, who died in San Francisco County, CA), I didn't know that there was an earlier Walker child, named Euphemia Walker, who apparently died in childhood,

OK, I rechecked my records, and the guy who contacted me from Malkmus/Hallelujah Acres about "proof" was Dr. Michael Donaldson, who is/was apparently their Research Director.

Not sure what point you're trying to make "RP". I already mentioned the Rev. Malkmus connection in an early posting on this same post. Please read. What I didn't mention at the time was that I was contacted by email some years ago by one of the Reverend's associates, a Dr. somebody or other, as to proof of Walker's birth. I told him to look on Walker's tombstone, a photo of whic

As to Live Food Products Co. (now Bragg Live Food Products, Inc.), its corporate history is somewhat interesting, and somewhat different than currently believed. My sources were from checking with the California Secretary of State's corporations' records, & Paul Bragg's probate file, which exists in Court records in Riverside County, California. Paul Bragg originally filed Articles of Inc

Just curious as to how/why this husband & wife team calls themselves "Dr." Are N.D. "affiliations that loosey, goosey that no prescribed course of study is required to annex them to one's names? I noted in the FDA letter of just a few years ago that it wasn't addressed to Dr. nor to even Jamie Sheridan, although the wife seems to claim that they actually both changed their nam

Why doesn't Mr. Adams just obtain & publish a certified copy of Dr./whatever's California Death Certificate....easily available for a price since California is an "open state" as far as those public records (except for adoptions) are concerned? Seems like that would settle the matter as to cause of death & how long whatever condition or conditions went on. Doesn't Gerson have a

On the other hand, Jack & Norman's first born brother, Irving, died at age four & 1/2 years---his newspaper obit didn't say from what---in 1911. Children frequently died in childhood back then as any trip through an old cemetery easily tells you. Jack's father, John, died at age 58, though Jack always claimed age 50 (because he didn't take care of his health), and his mother, Jennie, die

Yes, 96 & 81 are pretty long lifetimes, especially the former. I do find it amazing that Jack's brother, Norman, lived to age 97---almost like he was determined to outdo Jack by at least one year. From his on-line obit, apparently he had some form of kidney problems which caused his death.

You're very Welcome. Glad I could help. Looking again at Paul Bragg's 1958 Last Will, I see he left the following instructions: "I hereby direct my executrix or executor that I be given a simple, private Christian funeral and burial service, for such members of my family as may want to attend, the details of which I leave to be determined by my said adopted daughter, Patricia Pendleton

One frequent question I'm been unable to answer is "Where Is Paul Bragg Buried?" in that none of the news stories reporting his death back in 1976, or even after, noted this info. Recently I came across what sounds like an "interview", give or take, with Patricia Bragg from November 2015 having to do with an upcoming Palm Springs International Health & Fitness Festival.
