I guess an obvious follow up question is that you love to knit and that's great. Maybe a question I can't answer is what do vegan knitter knit with? I think I'm going to be inspired to google "vegan yarn" and report back. Wish me luck!

I enjoy a glass of Pinot Noir from Oregon about twice a week as a way to increase my resveratrol intake. I use muscadine grapes and resveratrol supplements from japanese knotweed and the grapes to compliment caloric restriction to activate the SIRT2 gene that's been shown to extend lifespan and delay aging. Peter, I'm with kleinphi. I sometimes just germinate them and eat them in my salads. Soaking lentils for 8 to 12 hours is enough to soften them to a crunch consistency. I leave them in a moist towel inside a colinder for longer if I want to sprout them. I'm partial to mung bean sprouts and lentil sprouts as they tend sprout easier and in a shorter period of time. I watched it on Youtube and I wouldn't say that they aren't concentrating on diet at all. Wiendruch's research and others is based on that. They are looking at other aspect, not related to diet, such as stimulating SIRT2 genes without dietary intervention. Doesn't mean one can't do it through diet.
