Those sort of cravings are a bit tricky to manage at first. With practice, it is possible to work through it. This is what worked for me: Just don't react. Take some control. Come out of the victim mode! Try it, it works! You are in control of what goes into your mouth! If you are determined enough, you will learn to manage this effectively. It may take some determination, as breaking old

Yes veganreikiangel My connection to nature is deeper and stronger. It is easier to connect with and live in the present moment. I can also tolerate an individual in the throws of a volcanic emotional state (as you describe it) as i do not become associated with it. Pre raw i would flee from a person in the 'volcanic state'. I just could not handle it. ffx

Fresh is best! I have the large excalibur. I used it a lot to make crackers and try out complicated gourmet recipes. I did that for about two months. I convinced myself that it would be good to have 'warm soup' and dehydrate surplus garden produce. Gourmet didnt suit me or help me transition. I occasionally use the dehydrator to dry herbs in the autumn months. Very expensive. If you are

Hi Debbie thanks Its time for a clear out and repair. The 'football tum' kick started my enthusiasm for a juice feast, which I started today. Many thanks to everyone for all your help, support and advice in my hour of crisis! ffx By the way... The puppy is doing very well on her raw vegan diet. I look at her for inspiration! My Raw vegan companion!

I have been blending melon with water and ice for breakfast (on an empty stomach) for a few weeks now. I noticed that my clothes were a little tighter after drinking them over the last couple of days. This morning on an empty stomach I ate half a cantaloupe melon. Within 10 mins i experienced severe bloating. (To the extent that i look pregnant/ fit to give birth! Eating cooked carbs caus

It does not have to be strong greens. Romaine lettuce or spinach will do the trick! You will need to experiment. I suggest that you start adding greens that you already like. How about blending bananas with pineapple and maybe some citrus to mask the taste? How about juicing veggies then blending with avocado to increase calorie intake? whats your reasoning behind reducing avocado if you

Do you eat Avocadoes? How about increasing your fats for a while rather than fruits as you are finding high fruit difficult to incorporate? Do you eat smoothies? As a temporary measure, you could blend bananas with other fruits/ greens (as this will disguise the taste) whilst you figure out your next step. Hope you find a solution ffx

Don't worry about it until its actually offered! A lot could change between now and then! The government here in the UK does not know what is doing from one day to the next! Also consider the level of healing you will have experienced on raw food. I live in the UK. I don't have your medical condition. None of my family will be having that jab. That's for sure! Love and healing ff

Thanks Sundancer A large salad with avocado on the menu tonight! Celery and citrus are the only things that she has refused so far. Her favourite appears to be cantaloupe melon / pineapple and banana smoothie or salad with avocado.

Have any of you ladies living on a totally raw diet, tried increasing your fat intake in an attempt to reduce cravings prior to menstruation? If so has it worked for you? Love to get some feedback on this.

I suggest that you don't over do the greens to start. Build up slowly. Over time you will find that you can increase the amount of greens whilst still enjoying your smoothie. I never eat or drink anything because i feel it is going to be good for me. (That's why i don't drink wheat grass juice. I just never developed a taste for it) Find your acceptable level and increase from there

For me, once tempted, I'm in TROUBLE. I had to work out how to not get tempted in the first place. It does not always work. The steamed veggies are the hardest for me to break. (The ones i don't care for raw) like broad beans, sweetcorn, sweet potato etc. I find that if i don't eat enough fat or sweet fruit then I'm in trouble. I start craving sweet things or that 'heavy' comfort food feeli
