I am very interested in cancer and going raw. Raw foodists tend to have high PH (7.2-7.4). And cancer likes high acid low oxygen.

Like many people who go raw, I did because I was sick. I was super active then quite suddenly developed chronic fatigue. My PH was 4.5. The only way to get your Ph up quickly is not to eat acidic foods. Just a few months on raw, I am at 7.0!

So sorry, it sounds very complicated. I only know that eating raw does help the body rid acid, which cancer lives in. And I jump on my mini-tramp to move lymph (which are concentrated in breast tissue). And I don't use anti-persp.

The only supplements I take are vit d in winter, and a probiotic which I eventually will drop. I believe that every plant we eat has many vits and minerals we know of, and many things we don't. If the plant finds a balance to keep it healthy, it enters our body in a balanced way too. Pills aren't food so don't belong in the body if we can help it. Some things of course are necessary, but at this

I feel very good on my ratios. You can see pix of what I eat every day on part III of my diet on my blog. I control my sugar and fat intake. If I didn't I would probably gain weight and have candida problems

First of all, GOOD FOR YOU! Raw foods will slowly heal you. I think you just need to view your body as a long term experiment. Keep track of your foods and drugs. Sooner or later, you'll notice patterns developing. I personally don't take drugs because of their acid. If I was in severe pain, or had a genetic disease, I might.

sorry, I'm new too. Lots of things I haven't tried. My diet is so simple, I wonder if it should be more complicated:/

I do have a few dark chocolate chips when I crave them. But what I did notice is for the first time since I was 12, I wasn't bloated during my period. I didn't even know it was coming!

I think many diseases are acid based. Long term on raw, along with deep sleep and exercise should get her to her genetic potential.

Nope, but I feel happier and more clear headed. So people are more attracted to me then when I was sicker.

Before raw, I ate a very healthy diet by a nutritionist standard. But I was looking old and puffy, and had to exercise like crazy to keep the same 15 pounds off. Now on raw, I just do gentle exercise, don't even think about calories, and look younger. Also my PH would never have gotten to a normal range on cooked food. I had no alkalinity to neutralize the acid in cooked food.

Hi everyone. My friend bought a juicer that squeezes the juice out, from costco. It's $250 but is it worth it?

I am not an authority on this because it's only been 9 weeks. But I have recovered from chronic fatigue and my skin is beautiful. I eat 2-3 meals a week, of junk. perogies, chocolate, pizza ect. My improvements have been wonderful despite the junk.

I keep my figs and dates in my fridge drawer. I only take 3 or 4 at a time, and leave the rest there.

I finally see a difference in my outer appearance! (I lost 6" of my waist but didn't see other changes.) I have close-ups of my face. It's amazing to see that my skin color has darkened, more tanned looking. And my pores look so much better. I'm looking for others who are documenting their changes. It would be so inspirational. Also, wondering what other changes will come my way? What have

I would think all richer countries have good food supplies. We have superstore, and it has all the raw nuts and seeds I need. T&T has very fresh fruits and veggies. I may in the future move back to asia, and have no idea if I will be able to get raw nuts and seeds!

I don't have bananas every day. I find a bad taste in my mouth which I imagine is candida. But prunes dates and figs I love and would hurt if I couldn't have them.

The problem with coffee is it's acidity. When I eat something I shouldn't have, I make sure I juice more. It makes things move along quicker. I find I don't necessarily crave coffee but the sugary creamer. So I make sure I get honey in my tea or lime water to satisfy my sweet tooth
