We know what monkeys eat to be healthy. They live in jungles with plenty of fruit year round. Humans live everywhere. So of course their diet must change to what's available. Whatever your beliefs on our origins are, we have almost identical digestive systems to monkeys. Good for monkeys, good for humans

I find grains to move slower in my body, which I don't like. But I eat soaked wild rice everyday and love it

I started 80/10/10 because I had candida from going raw but eating too many nuts and seeds. When I lowered fat to 300 calories of nuts, my candida went away, along with sinus infection and yeast issues. Never really read the book though haha!

I've found anything that makes me go, is irritating to the colon. I prefer home colonics when my detox symptoms tell me I need some help.

I use old pasta jars. When I juice, I always freeze extra in the jars. So I get green juice 2x a day

Been there. Biological water in raw foods helps so much, mono meals, lots of warm water and lime in the morning, and soil bacteria probiotics too.

So after 1 year 8 months 95-98% raw, I now am 100%. Huge difference! Not having any sauces as dip, no chips or chocolate has been really difficult. But the interesting part is I'm going back into detox, rashes, more sleep, zits. It's all very interesting. Never thought that few % would be so cleansing!

I used sauces as my small % non-raw, and that helped me eat many flavors I craved. Without green juicing, soaked nuts and seeds, seaweed, soaked rice every day, I also was hungry. Lack of energy could also mean you're in detox.

Well many of us need to only eat healthy. Cooked food and animal products make my digestion slow down and makes me feel sick. Not a disorder if your protecting yourself from illness.

I would include our similar digestive systems to monkeys. Their diet is raw produce, and they poo on their enemies. Their digestion is amazing. So why are humans so constipated? Cooked food perhaps?

I was 95-98% raw for 1 year 8 months. Now I am 100% because all my 'treats' started making me sick.

Hi everyone! I have now been on the raw diet for a year. Before I started, I was bed ridden with chronic fatigue for days at a time. And I looked at least 10nyears older than my age. The raw diet got me up to 40% of my old energy levels. And I was so grateful. I could exercise and get about having a fun life. But I was still getting sick off of everyone. Then I started h2o2 therapy and WOW! In my

My cravings for food in the evenings went way down when I juiced everyday. After several months, things I loved started to taste bad. Like I used to love deep fried veggie rolls (vietnamese), and now they stink to me. Meat really stinks, and surprisingly, I haven't had icecream for months now!

I have a breville juicer which was $100. I eat the pulp after sometimes. I want to move back to asia one day so buying an expensive vitamix might break, get stolen, and I don't know if I could put the blades in my suitcases and take the rest as carry-on. If you can't afford much, don't buy a cheap $40 juicer because they break and you'll waste money:/

I understand the addiction feeling. I never craved potato chips until I went raw. So I combated it by eating things with natural salt like celery, dulse, and seaweed. Also when I crave chocolate, I find figs work

I lived in china for three years. What I can tell you is the meat quality is worse than dog food, dairy is really bad, their green veggies are all bitter-it would be very hard to juice them and yet orientals look very young until they hit about 40. Then they age like everyone else. They do eat a lot of fruit (after meals which causes fermentation), and they eat stir-fry veggies to fill up, not on

One of the amazing things about going raw is that dry fasting is available when you need it. I am 6 months raw, and how much water I need has gone way down. I dry fast from 3pm (after my green veggie juice supper) til 8am the next day. I got a major gum infection in half my lower jaw. I increased my dry fast from 2pm til 10-11am the next breakfast. I also slept with a small piece of garlic beside

Nuts and seeds are so rubbery after soaked. I think they must be easier to digest after soaked.

Maybe start writing down what you eat. You'll eventually figure it out. I love cherries, but they seem really hard on my digestion. Have you done colonics? Do you take probiotics?

Sorry to say it but I think your job will eventually make you sick. I eat 8am-3pm and I haven't thought about my weight for months. I also keep my meals to 3-4 ingredients. I'm never hungry anymore. And food tastes so good. An apple orange juice through the juicer tastes amazing!

Don't go raw unless you are willing to experiment! I am constantly learning. What works for one person doesn't for another. But I believe you should limit fruits and increase veggies. And eat stuff like kimchi, and wakimi. And I wouldn't go raw without daily green veggie juice.

I was wondering if anyone is growing foods inside their homes. Our horrible weather this year is making growing outside just as pathetic as our winters indoors. I am struggling growing anything but garlic. I would love to grow wheat grass but it just tends to mold. Any green thumbs out there?
