I'm too tired to read all the previous posts. Posting tons of info about solving chronic fatigue is like watching one of those depression commercials selling drugs. If you have these symptoms of depression then snap out of it and get your butt to the doctor's office and take our drugs! Or... if you experience chronic fatigue then stay alert and focused long enough to watch 45 videos, rea

Thank goodness the recommendations turned out to be fasting, rest, and stress reduction. For a minute with all the talk of sexual repression, I thought an old 19th century solution for female hysteria was going to be recommended!

I agree that Hashimotos is more commonly a 'diagnosis' but I was wondering about the theory of iodine deficiency hypothyroidism leading to it. I try to keep in mind that most people eating SAD are getting tons of iodine in the diet through iodized salt. Too much. Most probable would be iodine toxicity.

Flu vaccines up the snoz combined with weather changes, people closing windows in their houses (less fresh air) -- PLUS school is back in session and all the kids are spreading their germies in class and through the air handling system (HVAC) then coming home and giving it to mom and dad who go to work and give it coworkers and it travels through another HVAC system, then everyone goes to stores

The more, the merrier, IMO. We aren't born knowing everything and benefit from the teachings of others. I didn't know how to grow potatoes until someone showed me. I didn't know I could eat dandilions until someone showed me. Exactly how does electricity get to the light bulb? What does spirituality mean to *you*? There is much to be learned from community.

I met a woman once that has brittle bone disease so extreme that if she stumbled or fell she would break a bone. Or if she tried to open a tight bottle (like pickles) she would fracture her own arm. She broke her pelvis when she gave birth. And her daughter has the same disease. Her father had the disease, she has the disease, and now her daughter. Now, how cruel is that to have a child know

Measure your final product in ounces then divide by 64. (64 loads) If your final product is 82 ounces then you would use 1.3 ounces. I hope that is right??

Thanks everyone. I just bought a rub on ointment called Topricin and it has all natural ingredients including arnica. I sure hope it works. (It was super expensive so it had better work! LOL I will let you know how the knee feels in a couple days.) I am curious... how do the leafy greens work? As pain killers or anti-inflammatories?

I think the most overlooked workplace (and public) toxicity is perfumes. Perfumes/fragrances in the products that we use daily. Shampoo, laundry detergent, soap, etc are filled with toxic airborne neurological chemicals. I once had to quit riding in a vanpool because one of the men wore a horrible cologne that would make my eyes burn, nose burn, and throat to swell. I politely asked if he w

I have some torn ligaments in one knee that will require surgery to repair. For various reasons I can't have the surgery for a while so I have been managing the pain. I can mostly manage the pain with short series of anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen and then being careful of how I use the knee afterwards. For the most part, when my knee becomes super painful I end up taking ibuprofen for a f

Since I work outdoors most of the day... my favorite things about cold weather are gloves, insulated coats and warm socks. Overall I would have to agree with coco about the thin layer of ice suspended over puddles. That is so much fun to play with and explore.
