holy cr&*! thats a lot of shipping eh? i'm sorry. i've tried a lot of thickeners and irish moss is the best (if you follow the soaking directions!) also irish moss is a nutrient power house! i love it. great for respiratory support. also it lasts for a super long time too (in its dried state) i like to eat the leftover soaked moss (from a recipe) although it's a bit chewy! but i love that!

German Chocolate Cake Chocolate-Coconut Cake 20 oz. date paste 3/4 c. extra virgin coconut oil 4 tbs liquid vanilla 1/2 tsp salt 7-9 c. almond flour (i use the leftover from making almond mylk. then i dehydrate for a day) after it's dry i blend until nice and powdery. i think you get better "baked" results. 2 1/2 oz. cacao powder 1/2 c. coconut milk Add to a mixer bowl,

tofu is cooked/processed. i use to eat a ton. then i was reading all the bad stuff about it. i used to put it in the kids smoothies but since it has a lot of phytoestrogens in it i blame my daughters early developement on tofu!

here's an update on my cherry pie...it came out HORRIBLE! it was beautiful but it tasted like cherry ocean! (not a good combo) i used some low grade irish moss. that'll teach me. ( lesson learned: don't use low grade irish moss and what a waste of some great cherries! lesson learned #2: you win some and you lose some. but i shall persevere to endeavor! i just have to wait until my

hi alison, thanks for telling me i'm not in this alone. your migraines sound horrible as well and i'm sorry you suffer. i never had any PCOS symptoms like yourself thank goodness. but as i age i have added symptoms that go along with my migraines. i'm pretty certain this is all hormonal and my only comfort is knowing that after menopause, my migraines should cease. it's a weird thing to w

hi morgenjune! here's the scoop...i make both uncooked and cooked food. i'm raw and my hubby and kids (teens) eat both raw and cooked. all my life i've been vegan but not always raw. i wish upon all wishes that i started my kids raw from birth. i've been incorporating more and more raw in their diets in the last year and easing them into the raw way of life. it's a bit harder for older kids!

My kids wanted pizza and I made pizza! So it's not what they expected but they loved it! I even made some cashew and parm cheeze! The crust is a bread/cracker made mostly of buckwheat & sunflower seeds with some other stuff and then dehyrdated for a few hours. The marinara sauce is made from soaked sundried tomatoes from my daughters garden last year, some olive oil, fresh basil, garlic and l

Hi ya'll, I've been getting migraine headaches my whole life. I remember being a little kid with this horrible pain. Since I've hit my 40's, I've been getting the aura that preceeds the migraine. The last few months I've been getting them right before or during the first couple of days of my period. There is really nothing any doctor can do for me other than prescribe migraine meds whic
