As long as I don't have acid reflux and heartburn ever again, that's FINE by me. Hahaha And it is WORKING! Yeah, I would say my spiritual side has greatly improved by leaps and bounds. So kudos, but I know there will be problems and not everything will be "fixed" the way I want them to, so I will be happy in the here and now. Accept things and try to improve as time goes on.

I wash my hands with organic soap. Arvydas, How could it be too much sugar? On the SAD diet I had my FAIR share of processed sugars and a lot of carbs, and didn't get pruny hands like this. It could be liquids, I eat enough things with plenty of water in them. Then I drink clean water in between meals. I thought maybe I was too hydrated? Because wouldn't a person with high blood pressur

Why are the palms and fingers on my hands so pruny (You know, like how they are after being in water a while.) I haven't been in water in a while, but I did a lot of dishes earlier today. But they don't usually stay like this. Is it because it is cold outside or am I eating too many watery fruits for this kind of weather, or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Wow,I had

I don't think they are bad. For me, they are my main energy source because they are higher in calories which I need. BUT of course I try to balance everything with greens.

Well, now I am roasting. (There is no heat on either.) But I started to take kelp again, and I am very warm! WOW. But my hands are still shriveled.(You know, like after you're hands have been in water for a while.) Why are they so shriveled? lol Thanks for the input everyone. Arvydas, I consider sugar from fruit my main energy source as it has high calories that I need.

Do you think Ginko or Kotu Kola are mind altering? I'm trying to find out so I can make sure I have a sober mind, also. I personally haven't had any mind altering effects, but I don't take them that often. Back to the TOPIC, lol, yeah I like that carob. No bad side effects like chocolate gives.

Personally speaking and trial and error, I find that citrus fruit is better in the mornings or watery foods. Then before my evening meal, I eat heavier things like bananas. If I eat a bananas at lunch, then for the part of the evening meal eat a honeydew, I seem to get indigestion because the bananas are still digesting from the noon lunch, and the honeydew is trying to move past the bananas bec

Nice. off-topic, but.... So, the verse that you have there (which I personally like that verse) is marijana one of "those" green herbs? (Not that I consume them, though, I was just wondering your input.)

O.k. Due to our finances, I am only able to get non-organic food from the co-op. Am I getting more toxins because of my increased fruit intake than I've ever had in my whole life (because of the sprayed fruit)? Or was I more toxic on the SAD?

According to the SAD diet, 1,000mg for the average person. Does this go for the raw diet, also? I go on fitday, and I find I am getting about 400 mg of calcium. Is this good, or do I need more? Thanks.

I am usually a cold person to begin with, except the times I was pregnant or going through post-partum. But I have been eating 100% raw for the past month. Yeah, I felt great when it was hot out, never phased me. The past two days it's been in the 50s. I have been so cold, and it is even hard for me to warm up. (Except for when I am exercising.) My hands are ice cold. I've been weighing 97

yeah, I know it was an example. But wouldn't you overload on vitamin A from that many carrots? I've done juicing in the beginning. It was too time consuming with washing all of the parts. Also, why did juicing make me feel hungry and empty? I didn't like that feeling. does anyone else feel that way with juicing? Is it the lack of fiber?

Hi Nedsin, Sorry to hear you are running into some bumps. Just keep working on what to eat. I think Galileo is right. You need more calories to build muscles. I think that a person on the raw diet needs to eat 12-14 fruits a day (the serving size about the size of a mediun apple. Fruit contains calories that a person needs to burn. Fruit sugars are different than processed sugars, btw.
