Thank you Yes I understand what you are saying. Guess I just have to hold out the next two months and see what happens with work. I am capable of doing my job so shouldnt have to be threatened with being sacked over this. I will keep focused. Thank you both of you for the replies.

Okay I thought I would make a seperate post as I was bunging up the 7wk thread with my blabber! So here we go, my manager and I had a review as usual monthly to chat. Before going raw I had some major probs with my crohns, this was really affecting my ability to work, live, leave the house. However I have kicked it into remission and have had the best/healthiest 12 weeks of my life! Anyway

I have had to eat in various a la carte restaurants recently for business etc. I simply have been emailing them ahead of time to let them know of my requirements, that way there is no fuss worrying etc. They have all been very good and prepared me something suitable. If you are able to ring them ahead of time this may be a help, request what you like- salad, and a fruit bowl, if necessary l

Thanks for the replies everyone, and encouraging words. They have been good, thank you. Suncloud - I guess I am trying different things to see how I feel. I find either juice or mono eating makes me feel the best. As I used to suffer from crohns I am carefull to make sure I stay in remission. So I try to keep things simple. as for back rib bones, they arent sticking out, they are just ther

This is what Shazzies store says about the Nori they stock: ""Though many people toast their nori, we have ours untoasted, which preserves even more of the abundant nutrients found in sea vegetables. Please note that this nori is not 100% raw. We thought it was because it's not toasted until someone alerted us! This nori is hot air dried at 80 degrees C and then roasted for ab

Cheers suncloud for the reply! Banitos are those teeny tiny baby bananas, about 1.5inch at the most, so sweet and wonderful tasting. I had a hand of those on saturday and sunday..omm they are wonderful!! Yeah I am fluctuating between very simple eating and just juice at the moment, have to find something that feels comfortable x Raw_dancer

Hi all I am thinking of trying a few days of mono eating, alternating with juice fasting. Before I have done 4 day periods with oranges, then apples. I am wondering if banana's would be good for this sort of thing? Any experiences on banana's? Any suggestions would be great I currently consume between 400-600cal day, juices mostly.Try to go by intuition instead of worrying about h

People on a SAD diet dont sit around worrying about getting enough nutrients! Intuition comes with time, but you can certainly get some good ideas/guides of what people do eat on this board. End of the day you have to eat what feels right for you. For me its fruit. Not nuts on any oils. Just simple fruit. Good Luck with your raw journey

I live very cheaply on raw, saying that its just me to buy for. But most people I know spend between £30-£40 a week for themselves and I usually spend £10 at the most £15 a week. Buying local, little and often I find keeps the costs down big time. It can be soo cheap to buy fruit and veg, it just depends where you live- if you have access to farmers/local markets etc. I dont think it ha

I normally just make a blended soup then you can add all the raw herb/spices you want, chilli, fresh grown herbs etc. You have to have your own boundries as far as whats raw and what isnt. Some people find boiled water acceptable whilst others dont! Go with what feels good for you

Seems like everyone is doing good.. Sometimes all these unwritten "rules" can get oppresive to the point you really dont know what to do or eat. That part is hard for me. Ah well, its been so lovely and sunny, spent most of yesterday sunbathing.. drinking lemon water and pottering about. Planted some mint and rosemary Yesterday I kept it light, drank water, had some watermelon
