Maybe try giving her a grounding stone, something small she can keep in her pocket to ground her, bring her back into her body while she is there?

Hi there, I was wondering if anybody here practices tarot? I have been using the Voyager deck by James Wanless, I really like it. I will pull a card in the morning, sometimes during the day and at night and I find that it can be very insightfull. I use it like a meditation and go back to it during the day for thoughtfull contemplation. The practice has really helped me become more focused a

My acupuncturists told me about my breathing, that when you sigh it can be a symptom of energy being stuck in one place, like you liver and kidneys. So maybe look into chi's and stuff like that and perhaps that would be insightfull.

Try to not get so discouraged if you eat something you feel guilty about later. It is definately a journey.

There are lots of yummy friuts just coming into season now, cherries, apricots, peaches etc. add these to your diet and slowly drop things like sugar, flour, dairy etc. and see how you feel. Stay into tune with your body and do what feels right.

Thank you both. Its been a week now, and the bruises are slowly going away. I am so happy to be alive and so thankfull that I came away from that with only a few bumps. I signed my self up for a "trauma & the body" workshop for next week so hopefully that will be interesting. I made a few acupuncture appointments too. I love acupuncture so I think that will really help my body hea

Hello everyone, Yesterday, the thing most cyclists fear most, being hit by a car, happened to me. Except it was a truck. I was hit from the side and was pulled under. Thankfully I am ok, no broken bones, my helmet did fracture, I went to the hospital and had a cat scan and everything was ok. Just a lot of bruising, my whole body is sore. What you would imagine being hit by a truck feels like.

There is an acupressure point on your foot that goes straight to your liver, in between your big toe and the second one, right below the toe joint, try massaging it, with a lot of pressure, you ought to be able to feel something, some tenderness at least, Also the spot between thumb and forefinger-the fatty tissue there, do these or have someone else massage you here. Maybe google it so you have

I think It's a little arrogant/self rightous to be telling people not to be concerned with swine flu. Obama is already sending that message and I'm not sure he is right. I think it's one thing if you are only responsible for yourself and a whole other concern if you have a family/kids etc. I think our earths fragile "immune system" would probably benefit if a whole lot of humans died, a

Just water and friction, I don't think it's a good idea to use anything mad made down there. Your vagina does a pretty good job of taking care of itself if you leave it alone, but it will have to react to whatever chemicals/oils/soaps you introduce to it.

Havent shared this with the board yet, but, I left my boyfriend who was my age (20's) to be with a man twice my age who has custody of his two young children. We all live happily under one roof but I am up against almost everyone in my life telling me that I am crazy for doing this and have lost respect from a lot of people but I am happy and hope I have made the right decision. It is hard an

I'm blond and really fair too, I don't tan and have to use sunscreen too so I know where you are coming from. I use coconut oil as a moisturizer everyday before sunscreen and if my face is really dry I use a night time moisturizer from origins but that is really expensive and full of chemicals I think. When I first switched to the coconut oil I think It took my face a week or so to adjust a fa

Have you tried lying down and putting your feet up at a 90 degree angle against the wall or whatever? It will help some of the lactic acid to flow back down your legs, and helps your lymphatic system. My sister does this for 10min every day and it helps her with cramps.

I have gotten rid of a small patch of ringworm on my inner thigh from eating massive amounts of garlic, 3-4 cloves (crushed and with lots of water) a day and also eating coconuts/coconut oil for a couple of weeks. Didn't put on anything topical but make sure the area can breath, keep the skin dry. I think it's better if you can handle it to chew up the garlic really well in your mouth so the garl

I'm a 24yr old college student and I don't really drink either. Maybe once every 6 months? My peers don't really understand but that doesn't really matter to me because I know I'm doing what is best for my body. When I do drink, red wine or tequila, I can never get any REM sleep, and the next day I feel so crappy it takes me almost the whole day and lots of coconut water to recover and to get rid
