so removing tomatoes from diet will result in wonders for one's health? How is it that tomatoes are as addictive as tobacco? would you have any scientific studies or readings to suggest? thank you Cynthia

Thank you for all your great suggestions. My goal really is to adjust to no salt. But, yes, the salad tastes horrible that way. And as it is my "main dish"at night, so... To cut salt may have me avoid all greens. Nevertheless, I'm decided at eating bland for sometines until it becomes confortable. Last year, in my three months raw food try, I had to put oil, ACV and soya sau

I ear it is better for one's health, so today I tried to suppress salt. Well...my salad tasted like nothing. I put lemon instead and I could barely finish my meal. How you guys do you do that?

Thank you for your insights. Corn is so delicious. And so satisfying too with tomatoes and green zucchinis. As I understand it, fresh corn is alkaline and dry corn grains acidic. Right? Blessings Cynthia

J*Sylva I wish mine were still little - They are now 14 and 16 so it's not the same thing that when they were young and would eat what I put on their plate (vegeterian though, it was the beat I knew at that time).

No, I don't supplement - and I don't buy vitamins for my children. We use bee products though... Just another thought about children: we have to accept them as they are. As they got older, they might change. They will change. If or not they will adopt the same regimen than me, I don't know. They will have their goals, theirs passions, theirs loves... my father would love to have me eat the sa

One thing is sure - better to start early on in their life because if you wait too long, all they might want to eat is junk food as the other kids. IMO, we need to help create an habit of eating raw food. So even if later on they eat less healthy food at friend's place or others, they'll come back to the good feeling of eating natural produces. My sons are vegetarians almost since birth.

This a nice subject to come up with as a lot of raw recipes ( from uncook books) ask for garlic and onions, that I already know being aphrodisiac. I have that same concern since a while so thank you all for your advices and experiences. I didn't know for durian and maca. love and blessings Cynthia

In the summer, I grow everything in my garden so I then consume almost 100% local. In the Winter time though, there is no choice for me but to buy what is in store. Again, I am aware that living in northern countries is not so easy for raw foodist. I would probably eat 100% local if I had the chance to live in the tropics. The thing is : I'm happy here in Canada so I try to adjust myself to th

"I went raw, got super skinny and moved to Florida in 2004 thinking that the sunshine & fresh fruit would make me happy. It's all about other people really. Eco-friendly, naturey life is nice of course but, for me, it's all about the human element. " hi communitybuilder, what happened afterwards? Did you regain your normal weight, get a nice job in Florida and live happi
