the "best" cleanse is the one that works the best for your individual body i'm partial to the master cleanse, green juice fasts, sprout fasts and water fasting however, i pretty much stick to water fasting now as i no longer like drinking the senna tea that is required for the MC. but it's an excellent cleanse if this is the one that's speaking to you

i found a barely used cuisinart 10 cup food processor on ebay and i really love it. very sturdy and it's worked well for me. when i was preparing gourmet meals, i was using it at least 3-4 times per day.

Liponeer, I'm sensitive to your situation but I find it interesting that your co-workers are so preoccupied with your food! I worked in human resources/employee relations for years and there are actually harassment policies against this type of behavior if you do feel like you're being harrassed. It's a fine line and yes this may be extreme, but I just wanted to highlight this point for conside

liponeer, you're a caring soul. i echo not worrying about offending anyone and enjoy your food. when i eat brocolli or cabbage my breath is kind of stinky for awhile too. but i don't notice it as much anymore as i'm less toxic. cabbage can get funky, it smells like durian to me sometimes. a suggestion if you're still concerned...parsley and fennel seeds are super odor busters. chewing on som

Are you 100% raw? I only ask because I had candida. I healed it and cleared it completely from my body being 100%, drinking at least 2 large green smoothies daily and putting drops of grapefruit seed extract in a glass of water. I think it took 3 months before I noticed all symptoms had dissappeared. Garlic and oil of oregano are also great antifungals. But I highly recommend you try the GFS Ex

I'm not trying to mean, just keeping it real. If you take a look around you when you're outdoors doing your thing in your U.S. town or city how many heavy people do you see? U.S. airports are the best for this type of observation by the way. Heavy being subjective, but obese you cannot deny. There will be many. Maybe of the 10 people walking by you, 2 will look relatively healthy. I'm in No

Question — Why is it important to soak nuts and seeds before eating them? Answer — Nuts and seeds naturally contain enzyme inhibitors. And by soaking them, you not only release the toxic enzyme inhibitors, but also increase the life and vitality contained within them! The purpose of these enzyme inhibitors is to protect the nut and/or seed until it has what it needs for growing (ex. s

I've been 100% for a year and now I have some concrete experience to fall back on with regard to this subject. When I first started answering the question...hmmm could I date a carnivore? Well I was and my responses were always neutral, in the middle. I love him, blah blah. Love conquers all - sometimes it doesn't. And hey it didn't work out...alot of it had to do with our differences in lif

raw veganism keeps me alive, healthy and vibrant...that seems pretty natural to me. being the opposite is also "natural". so what does natural really mean anyway? i always put it up there on the same shelf as the word "normal" if you get my drift.

Best wishes DCveggieGal. Like sunflower, I'm a big fasting advocate too, but do it when you feel your body is ready for it. Juice fasting helps with detox and healing. Juice feasting helps renourish the body and rebuilds it. I've completed 30-40 day juice fasts and wow, just felt amazing afterwards. Eating raw foods after a big cleanse is heavenly. Your journey sounds like mine, gradually

Rawbryan is cool. I've chatted with him...he's a real live human being. Is that what you mean? ;-) I have an osterizer beehive blender until I get a vitamix. I'm sure some rate the Blendtec or Vitamix higher than the other, I simply like the Vita-mixer better personally. In the meantime, my beehive blender serves me well - it's a workhorse and I love it's glass jar!

I realize I've been circling back to raw foods since I was a young child. My folks were raw but in the 60's they were threatened by CPS or whatever it was called back then regarding what they were feeding me - this still happens by the way. Anyway, I've always loved fruits and vegetables in their raw state. My transition: raw foods (1-5 years old) -----> SAD (5+) ---> vegetarian

A most excellent interview Bryan. I love how you gracefully covered the social implications of raw, transitioning and recovering from emotional attachments to food and your explanation of the shrinkage effect when you lose fat is the best I've ever heard. It will help me explain this to others who tell me I'm getting "too skinny". ;-) Thank you!
