Is there a difference between the organic beans and seeds that I buy in the bulk bins at whole foods and the ones that I would buy from a sprout supplier? I mean other than the price. If so, does anyone have suggestions regarding a reputable supplier? I love sunflower sprouts, does anyone sprout these?

Canteloupe each for breakfast. Three or four peaches a few hours later. Four or five satsumas a few hours after that. My partner tends to eat a hand of bananas a day ... I eat a few less. Mangoes last the longest in our home. All that said ... maybe three or fours days and it's all gone. I wish I knew some folks around this area to have over for raw meals.

I made a fruit salad of peaches, apricots, canteloupe, blueberries, bananas and mango with some fresh squeezed orange juice drizzled over. Then topped it with some whole flaxseeds and raw walnuts. It tasted quite delicious.

Our breakfast buffet. We found organic peaches at COSTCO. How do you make pictures smaller?

When I initially went raw I lost 24 pounds in the first month. It's interesting, I don't like to buy new clothes so I still run around in all the clothes that are way too big for me. I guess that I should get around to that. I could donate all the old ones to a shelter. I didn't have many to begin with though. I'm kind of a minimalist.

rawchefdan, Interesting way to sell recipes. One at a time will net you much more profit than selling them in a book.

I eat bananas and have no worries about acne. It's news to me if this is a fruit that brings it on.

I have a greenstar juicer. I have been wondering about geting the whole nutrition by eating or juicing the rind. I have eaten the seeds for a long time. I have not tried to juice the melon yet.

EARTH SHIPS! My dream would include a community of earthships surrounding a central plaza lined with fruit trees. All the plants surrounding the houses would be edible. Imagine having kale or chard rather than hostas, window boxes with lettuce, pots of raspberries rather than petunias. beyond the earthship ring would be the communal gardens where everyone would work at least part of the week.

I wish that I could live in a raw food community. I would love to find a place that is close enough to a town that I could continue to work but also take part in growing food for a community that could be shared.

I use a zip lock bag and half a spent melon. when the bag has fruit flies in it I zip the top shut walk it outside and let them go. repeat as needed. During the summer I generally have this on my kitchen range at all times.

Does anyone juice watermelon? If so, do you only juice organic watermelons? I know that they are low on the list of pesticide foods.

I find fruit has a different taste sensation if it is room temp than when it is in the fridge. Depending on the fruit and what I am looking for is how I keep the fruit. I tend to like things like kiwis, cataloupes, and strawberries room temp. Watermelons sometimes chilled and others room temp. Actually strawberries are quite delicious when I pick the sunshine warm.

I like lemon juice and avocado with herbs like basil and oregano. I eat a large romaine, tomato, and celery salad every day with the previously mentioned combo. I mix it up in a large bowl and it combines to make it's own dressing. I never get tired of it. It's pretty much my favorite meal. I think it's really because of the romaine.

I've been known to eat a whole watermelon for breakfast during the summer. Granted they are only slightly larger than a bowling ball. I did that every day for two and a half months when I was living in southern Italy. The people in the market place thought I was quite bizarre. I would walk to the piazza day after day with a spoon in my pocket for my morning fix. I'd buy, crack it on the curb and

I know what GERD is. I asked if anyone here suffers from it? I guess I would also like to know if anyone has suffered from it and no longer does after switching to a raw diet.

I have looked at your site and I have read your posts. If a person doesn't want to share what they eat that is their choice. My question is more about your photos. Are the pictures of food between your photos some things that uou have made/eaten or are they some random photos that you have pulled- for decor? If you made them then I think you're quite artful in your presentation.

Anyone suffer from GERD? Bloating? I have been having some probleems with the two. I would rather not take any medicine. I actually am on a quest to be medication free if possible. I feel that I am on my way with decreasing my blood pressure naturally. I was off blood pressure meds for a while then had relapsed on cooked foods while backpacking Europe. a few months later I was back to needing som
