The Inca were master developers of crops plants. By growing all of their plants from seeds they ensured the diversity that made new possiblities happen. One lesson of the Inca is that many of the wild plants anywhere have great potential to produce incredible food when worked with intellegently. There are probably a great many lost crops yet to be rediscovered in the Andes.

Farmers are vigalent about keeping their soil from getting too acidic so the acid part of the rain shouldn't be too bad for produce. (they add ground limestome). It's all the other stuff (like mercury) that comes with the acid rain that is the big worry. Pollution is drifting all the way from Asia into North America.

Mulberry leaves have been shown to be effective in treating diabetes: Evidently, mulberry leaves contain substances that reverse this defect. In a study conducted in India, patients with type II diabetes were randomly assigned to one of two groups.48 One group took glibenclamide, a drug that stimulates pancreatic insulin secretion and is prescribed to certain type II diabetics. Patients in

Wheatgrass juice is the best but can be difficult to consume. Wild grasses can be much more palatable. Chew, swallow juice, spit out the pulp. Just regular buttermilk would work well if raw goat's milk is hard to come by. Consider this a transition food while working toward a vegan raw diet.

Lots of grass juice (wild or from grain, dried or fresh, even as an implant) is always beneficial to keep weight on. Another option is the favorite of Dr. Bernard Jensen (nutritionist, iridologist, and natural healer), clabbered milk. This is soured milk (raw goat milk is the best) which is just basically buttermilk. You can culture it yourself by just adding 2 tbs or so regular buttermilk

The outer bag is just to hold the soak water and catch drain water. Just clip the outer bag on or attach a string loop to it so it hangs a little lower The inner bag is enough to keep them from getting dry. For wild foods try the tender green wild grasses.

For sprouting you can use a plastic bag system: Take the ring of a canning jar lid. Fold a piece of mesh screen over the ring. Work this down into the corner of a large heavy ziplock plastic bag. Secure it with some wire or rubber bands on the outside. I use some coat hanger wire made into a circle that I just push on. Cut a small bit of the corner off for drainage. Cut a 6" length of stri

Try Sonne's Greenlife on Hardbody Nutrition: All dried grass products are extremely expensive. This is the best deal I could find. Only buy the dried grass juice product. The one's that don't say juice, dry the whole plant and are a real rip off. Greenlife comes to $95/pound. The price of wheat on the Chicago Board of Trade is 6.4 cents a pound.

Many bags just have a string that tightens around the hood. When it's cold it's natural to scrunch down in the bag, roll around and have one's face not aligned with the hole in the hood. I focus on aligning myself so this does not happen. The members of an expedition to the North Pole had their sleeping bags develope into giant blocks of ice because they breathed in their bags. I went to

I recommend a bag with synthetic insulation. First they're much cheaper. They keep much of their warmth even when wet, dry out easily, and are much more durable than down. They're heavier but the weight isn't bad considering the advantages. Down is very expensive, gets wet easily, loses all insulating capacity when wet, is almost impossible to dry out in the field, and isn't real durable.

I met some travelers from BC when hiking up the volcanoes of Central Mexico. They told me of incredible displays of the Northern Lights one winter night as they were hitch hiking across BC. The aurora was so spectacular they quit hitching, spread out their expedition sleeping bags and lay there marveling at the light show in the sky. This seems the ultimate in outdoor sleeping.

When long red streaks start running from the wound you are in serious risk of life and limb and need to go to the doctor. A woman injured while escaping the sinking sailboat Trashman died 2 days after red streaks formed. Yarrow is extremely good in healing wounds. Keep a few plants in your garden or a pot. Grind up a few leaves in a mortar. Place the fresh living poultice on your wound.

I've found that a good dose of grass juice will dispel those symptoms. Dried juice is more palatable but expensive. Wild grass can be very good. Even an implant of grass will deliver the needed nutrients to the body.
