Yes, hopefully NOT seeing it was a GOOD sign. We'll just believe that to be the case.

CAH RAY ZEE video, man. I enjoyed these two comments: Chuck Norris' mom has a tattoo that says "Son". Google won't search for Chuck Norris because it knows you don't find Chuck Norris, he finds you.

So things have not been going well for me raw food-wise since being in the U.S. We have been going out to restaurants often because everyday we're on the road for business-related meetings and activities. The little grocery store near where we live is a small country store with a limited selection. We have a cramped kitchen. It's just not "home" where I'm comfortable and things are f

Reminds me of the song lyrics: Ooh ee Ooh ah ah Ting tang Walla walla bing bang Ooh ee Ooh ah ah Ting tang Walla walla bing bang (Why can I remember this stuff and forget the names of people I have known for years?)

Thank you for thinking about this, coco. So many people choose to ignore questions like this, telling themselves that it is only a little amount, no harm done, but it is so many small amounts that devastate an entire ecosystem.

Welcome, Dobhareach! It sounds like it has been going well for you so far. That's great! I look forward to reading more from you. When people write in their questions, successes and etc., that's what keeps this forum lively and interesting. I hope you get the results you want... and you may find some other benefits. (I did.)

For me... dried fruit = candy. When fresh fruit or other raw food doesn't satisfy and I "need" a sweet treat, that's my "go to" food (without the regret of having given in to SAD junk food).

Of course juicing would be especially good for you since you have difficulty chewing, but if you don't like fruits and vegetables, I can't see how you could have a raw diet. I don't know anything about gastronomy tubes, but your doctor should have information for you about what you can eat.

When I first started eating raw foods I went almost 100% raw right from the beginning. (Most people take the gradual approach, but jumping in with both feet was right for me.) Anyway, to be sure I succeeded, I "gave myself permission" to eat as much fruit as I wanted. I LOVE FRUIT!!! When I did that I didn't have cravings. I lost weight despite eating lots and lots of fruit (even

There is a strand on this around October 2009, titled, "Help! toe nail fungus!" and you can get to it through the search function.

Here are a few of my good tree memories. I, too, miss the wonderful stand of old growth trees on the hiking trail near my house back in New Zealand. When I'm next to those big old trees with nature all around me I know that that special place in the universe is benign. I look forward to walking there again. Meanwhile, I will find some new trees to love in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Right now

Like Pooh, I am a bear of little brain and big words (and big numbers) bother me. I'm glad some people can think about these things, though.

To appear to conform to Norms can help one to get along in the world. Hmmm... I guess it could come in handy to memorize some of Norm's lines on that YOUTUBE video. (Thanks, jono.) Conforming to Gnomes would not be wise, however. For example, their living arrangements would be too confining for most people. And if gnomes, (some of whom may be named Norm), live in Nome, it would be pret

When I was a little girl I used to "see" elves. While other children had imaginary playmates, I imagined elves living inside of trees. I vaguely remember having seen a photo (in Life Magazine?) of a car driving through a redwood tree and maybe another of a shop inside of another tree and it had fired my imagination. Anyway, I developed a rich fantasy about elves - what they wore, wha

Couldn't agree more!!! Like graffiti, a little rubbish begets more rubbish, so it's important to get rid of it a.s.a.p. My husband and I often pick up trash when we are on walks along the beach or road. Being a tiny part of the solution makes us feel less frustrated about the amount of litter and the slobs that create it. I only wish I had their addresses so I could drop the bags we collect

Before hiking in Glacier National Park I got advice to wear bells to scare bears away and to carry pepper spray in case of a grizzly attack. Later I heard this: When you see animal scat on the hiking trail, how can you tell the difference between grizzly bear scat and that of other animals? Answer: Just look for the sh*# with bells and pepper spray cans in it!

I grew up in New Orleans where the land is very stabile - no quaking there. So I'd never felt one until... One night when I was living in Bellingham, Washington and was watching the evening news and felt a tremor and saw a painting on the wall swing on it's nail. Then the newscaster in a very officious voice said, "We are experiencing an earthquake." It was mild, but dramatic to m

Vinny, there are so many things that are messed up in the world that I find it too depressing to focus on them. To keep my sanity I avoid TV news programs and skip over the frunkled up (thanks, jono) stuff in newspapers and internet sites (including this one). But even trying to avoid that stuff, I somehow learn about major events anyway. The best I can do is to do the best I can to search out
