There was a man in (I think cuba) who was 125 years old this past year. It seems that people lucky enough to live over 105 years old often come from foreign countries. Maybe their live styles are healthier than ours. I know the 125 year old man did not marry and never had kids.. maybe that is the secret. Ha ha ha! Just kiddin!

There are so many suggestions in this thread. *Eyes spin* This thread really hits home for me. I've never had breast cancer but I had 2 breast lumps. Im 24. One was removed in Dec 04 and it was labeled a non active fatty tumor, and the other disappeared after I went raw for 9 days. Those scares were enough for me to do monthly checks on my self and I'm always looking for foods that can prevent br

Someone who looks like you must need a challenge. You are already so fit! Wow!! I love going to the gym. I used to do mostly cardio but now I work on toning with the machines. I never use hand weights.

I've never froze a meal. I usually keep it in the fridge up to 2 days and toss it out if I havent finished it. Im worried it will taste funny after freezing.

It can be hard. I use my food processor and I put olive oil and seseme seeds in and blend until a liquidy consistacy. Its great for hummas because hummas is thick and this gives it taste and thins it perfectly.

I have made this recipe and it's so delicious. Even tastes like the real thing. In a food processor blend in: 3 Banana's, 2 thumb size chunks of frozen pineapple, 1 cup of coconut milk and 2 ice cubes. Blend and pour into a bowl. Sprinkle as much cinnimon on top as you like. I've never eaten it warm but this recipe is a great breakfast for winter time!

Tahini is a paste made from ground sesame seeds. I would make my own and add a little Extra virgin olive oil.

I love coleslaw. Its pretty much raw, other than the dressing which makes it coleslaw in the first place lol or else it would just be shredded cabbage. Bleh. Is there a raw recipe for traditional coleslaw that even tastes anything like the normal kind?

I tried to sprout chick peas before. By day 4, they were still hard and smelt like a really bad fart. I threw them out.

That's wonderful that you care so much about your health. I am 7 days raw and I personally think its doing more for me in 7 days then eating junk has done for me in years.

I love nori wraps for lunch but unless you keep them super cold.. in my opinion, they are gross. If you dont have access to a fridge or a cooler, try fruit. Lots of fruits can stay at room temp, just dont cut them before coming to work. breads are good too, if you have access to a dehydrator plan your week during the weekend and make all the food you need to last you from mon-fri.

It can be hard. Alot of nuts and seeds are fatty. Too much is high in cals. Opt for fresh fruits. They say on raw you can eat whatever and as much as you want but you have to be realistic. You shouldnt eat more than 1,200 cals per day of anything if you are looking to loose weight.

I like my olive oil. In moderation it has good fats for your heart. I use about a tsp mixed with vinegar for my salads.
