werewolf- did you know that parsley has more usable calcium than most greens, like chard and spinach? I eat a big bushel every day. Didn't know it had b-12 in it though. Cool! xxpeisi

Aww thanks guys!! This is my first pregnancy, so I can't tell if I am overstressing what is best for the unborn baby or not. I am so thankful that grapes are not harmful for babies because I eat about a pound of them a day, haha. xxpeisi

I wonder what shazzie, as a mother, thinks of ingesting so much caffeine from raw chocolate while she is pregnant. I think I am pregnant now, and I am quitting caffeine because of it. I have read, even on non-raw sites that pregnant mothers should stop drinking coffee and tea as the caffeine could harm the child. Isn't there supposed to be much more caffeine in raw chocolate? I thought I remember

Hey Mislu!! Funny story, my husband and I were actually talking about why there are so few ads for men but tons for women. One of those commercials which has the slogan "you're worth it" came on tv. Those commercials really bother me. Really, L'oreal? I am worth a 5 dollar bottle of shampoo? Ha ha, I am not worth the money it would take to go to a salon and get my hair professi

I agree...What a world we live in where we are the fanatics and the fast food, pill popping alcoholic lazy consumers are the norm... Sort of sad, but never give up on people!! many reach a point where they want to learn and change and you could easily become someone's saviour, literally, if you can help them to discover the simple "cures" that raw food provides. By cures, I guess

Thanks guys!! The only meat I honestly miss is fish. I never liked the taste of other meat, but fish was a favourite of mine and it is nearly impossible to mock (or so I thought). I will give the mock tuna a try. I really hope it turns out good! Anyone have tips on a lighter version, without many nuts? I am trying to cut down on them, as winter is coming along and I seem to overdo all thing

Even when I am not feeling ill, onions really make me nautious. Garlic, not so much... I thought I was allergic to onions, especially. I made a green smoothie from Juliano's book, and he uses heaps of onions... Well, anyway, after drinking it, within seconds I became so violently ill that I started crying... Not a very nice experience :s and the onion was organic as well, so I must be more se

When I first started on raw, I allowed myself to eat ANYTHING and EVERTHING raw that I wanted. It was a form of mental reprogramming for me. I had to unlearn that eating the junk food I enjoyed was either "wrong" or a "reward" and thus get rid of the strange feelings I craved/regretted when eating candy, muffins, sweets, etc. Instead I erased that part of my emotional conn

I'm thinking of buying the cacao butter, out of pure curiousity. I wonder what raw truffles taste like? Slowly but surely though, I am moving away from eating too much cacao. Probably because I have never seen it being grown, manufactured, and foreign stuff like that makes me a bit suspicious. bla bla... where did THAT rant come from? hehe Anyway, who knows. Maybe this cacao butter is da bo

I also eat a diet high in fruit and don't have a problem maintaining my weight... Of course, it is really hard for me to eat more than 2000 calories of fruits, as I have a 5 banana a day limit before I get a headache from the sugar... Otherwise, if I were to eat more berries, grapes, oranges, etc., I would never leave the bathroom!! I already pee 10 times a day with all the fruit, hehe My

anaken: If you use a hard brush, it will cause the gums to receed. Plaque on the teeth is not very hard to "scrape off", and if one is raw, this is especially true!! It is like washing your face with rough sandpaper instead of a cloth. If you feel that a soft brush isn't working, maybe you are not flossing enough/properly? I feel that flossing is more important than brushing!! Most

Yes Prism!! It will get easier! Maybe try transitioning slower? I think I am going to try making almond milk for my tea... The thing is, I like drinking something warm in the afternoons... I wonder if I can boil water, wait until it is warm enough I can put my finger in it, then seep the tea and add almond milk... That or buy a waterbottle... My favourite part of drinking tea is the warm
