This is turning out to be a weird thread. Anyways... what is the "vegan DHA" that is repeatedly being mentioned in this thread? Does that have something to do with Omega 3 fatty acids???

All the herbs/spices you mentioned afaIk are used as antibacterials. The only one I know of that is not dangerous is cherries. I heard that a chemical in cherries behaves like Aspirin. However it takes about 10 cherries to equal to one aspiring if memory serves correctly. Hope this helps.

Is the omega 3 in flax seeds true omega 3 or is it something that the body will turn into omega 3 just like it can turn beta carotene to vitamin A?

Well i tried to juice white button mushrooms and they came out of my Breville as a dark brown goopy goo. I do not recommend anyone jicing white mushrooms. Eat them instead, it is better. As far as other mushrooms go, I am not sure but they seem all very similar to me so I would not juice them, I'd eat them instead.

The newest Kempo juicer has two pairsof gears. One pair you use for the fruit and veggies and the second pair (which you have to replace the veggie gers with), for wheatgrass; so I guess that there would be less foam in the wheatgrass juice. As far as the nooks and crannies issue and the gears being too small issue... those are interesting, I am glad you brought that up. Comments anyone?

Are you implementing a balanced diet? try a good multivitamin and if you feel better then you know atht your diet is not vitamin balanced. Also you have to check you protein as in are you getting enough? And last but Defenetely not least, if you are vegeterian or vegan you should check your B12 intake as B12 vitamins are mostly produced by unicellular organisms. No plants (fruit/veggies) are ab

There was just a BIG mercury detox thread not two days ago. You might want to find that. In essence detoxing foods are chlorella and cilantro. The thread goes into deeper details and also gives a couple of useful links to other foods or supplements that help detoxing mercury. Hope this helps and good luck!

People in the last few messages have been going to get methylcobalamin as a supplement especuially after that huge and very informative (thank you Mike Snyder!) post. However< I am pretty sure that despite what the article says, adenosylcobalamin is the most absorbable form. I think I read it in some B12 related forums. However, I did read someone saying that methylcobalamin made them feel dif

I jheard that one of the causes of depression is an imbalance of fat intake. Do you get enough omega 3 fatty acids? the body cannot produce those. Fish such as salmon is rich in omega 3 and flax seed and flax seed oil are rich in a fatty acid that becomes omega 3 in the body. Also when binge eating, what foods do you crave/ binge on? Yes, and also if there is something in your life that you want

As far as B12 supplements go, try to stay away from cyanocobalamin even though its the most common form of cobalamin. Supposedly, when the body needs it, the body will break it down to cyanide and cobalamin. Also cyanocobalamin is a inactive form of B12. hydroxocobalamin is also inactive but I heard that it will turn into cyanocobalamin in the body, trapping cyanide and then the body can flush it
