There are lots. I am not sure how they work though. I think they are called "anti inflamatory" food but I do not know if they target a certain area or they work generally throughout the body. I think ginger root is one.

Chlorella has Clorella Growth Factor (CGF) which speeds up the growth of nails and hair. Also a silicon nutrient might strengthen his nails.

I was under the impression that a pathogen by definition is a malevolent organism where as a probiotic err... something... bacteria or something... is a good microorganism. What I do remember from first year bio is that a symbiotic relationsship is one where both organisms benefit from each other where as a parassitical one is a relationship where one organism benefits from at the cost of the ot

What I know is that heating does denature certain nutrients but it also breaks down others making them more digestable. From a raw foodist point of view many more nutrients are denatured than made available by cooking. I remember seeing a website that discussed this. Pehaps you should google it in as "cooking raw better" or something. As for why I am trying to be raw and vegan? Well it

Because I am overweight I get back problems every so often. When i do I usually hit the gym to use only one machine. Its the one where there is a lever that rests on the lower back and you push on it. It works out the muscles on the lower back. I do not know what they are called. Anyways I do not use it much. I use it just enough to tighten the muscles so that they will straighten the spine. Usua

Also should I leave the pith (or whatever the white prt is called) in or shuld I separate it from the seeds? The fruit is not irganic so I am going to take the skin off the pomegranate. Thank you in advance for any replies!

A blanket will keep you warm in winter. Don't eat it though. hehehe Seriously, I hear that ginger is good for the circulation so if you have cold hands from poor circulation, ginger is supposed to cure it.

Ok. I don't understand why someone would ask if acid rain affects organic figs. Its not like the acid rain would avoid falling on the organic farms and search for a non organic one. Anyways... AFAIK acid rain is caused by the combination of NOx and SOx to water. AFAIK NOx and SOx are caused by fossil fuel burning such as car exhaust and coal energy plants therefore the places with more air po

I used to work for a restaurant where they got bagged prewashed baby greens. One time I found a Ladybug among the salad and I also heard of a story where one salad after it was delivered to the table caused screams. It turned out that among the leaves there was a live praying mantis! The salads quite often are blanched in hot water to wash them. This also denatures the enzymes that might cause

Vitamin C can be toxic at high doses. I read somewhere that at too high doses it turns into oxalic acid. Also prolonged overusage of vitamin C can cause your arteries to thicken; however its NOWHERE near smoking. You might want to look up a book on vitamin supplements in your local library. I don't know about vitamin E. Hope this helps!

Thank you for taking such an interest! I think the beverage was called Power One. I have not seen it around lately. It contained both chlorella and spirulina. the rest of the ingredients were the usual vegetables such as broccoli and beets and I think there was some wheatgrass juice too. My allergic reaction was a severe dry fever and nausea until I vomited. Then I started feeling normal ag
