I read the ingredients listed in the apple Lara Bars and made my own version at home about a year ago. They turned out great! It's been a while and I don't have a Lara Bar in front of me right now but I think the ingredients were just had dates, raisins, walnuts, almonds, apples and cinnamon. I'll probably try them again sometime..

I have 5 children ages 22,20,18,15 & 7 and never vaxed any of them. They have always been healthy, getting over colds and flues much faster than many of their friends and I believe that it's because their immune systems have never been compromised by vaxes. Never had a problem with schools. Just said that I didn't vax for personal reasons.

My daughter's boyfriend's mother runs a pig sanctuary in NW Washington. They have over 200 pigs saved from being made into bacon living freely on their farm. It runs on donations and volunteers. They also give tours during the warm months. Check out their website at

once in a while i sprout some quinoa or wild rice and add a little to salads. they are actually seeds, not grains, they don't have gluten and they seem to digest well for me.

one thing a dental hygenist told me was the most common cause of receding gums is brushing too hard with a hard toothbrush. she said that if you brush twice a day you should never have to brush too hard because everything comes off easily. she said that it's best to use a soft bristle brush and be gentle, but throrough. and to floss every day. hope this helps.

I've done 4 or 5 MC's and I love them! I've also done two 7 day water fasts. The main differences I felt was that with the MC I still had the energy to carry on with all my responsiblities I am a single working mom with five kids) in an even more clear and energetic way. With the water fast I felt like I definately needed to rest more. I've always gone at least 10 days on the MC, and I've done on

i think you could dry store them if you dehydrate them long enough. depending on how long your vacation is going to be you could dehydrate some that are bendy for the beginning of your trip and also some that are dehydrated longer so that they are more like tortilla chips to last until the end. i've kept them in a bag unrefrigerated for over a week. never found out if they could last longer be

i go in and out of preparing stuff. most of the time i just make a salad or wash a piece of fruit. other times, like today, i enjoy making simple things. today i made zucchini hummus..took me about 15 minutes. i'm not big on the really time consuming preparations like lasagna, but fast simple things like hummus, soup or smoothies i manage to do.

i never have a problem sticking with a fast, it's eating i have problems with! on a fast there's no decisions to make of what to eat or not, i'm just fasting. eating on the other hand is all about choices. i also generally don't feel hungry after the first couple of days so that helps. as a single mom there's no way for me to not be involved with food while fasting. if anything i seem to get m

just put everything in the food processor and spread thinly onto teflex sheets. you can make them round like traditional tortillas or cut them into squares. i dehydrated them for about 5 hours, then turned them over for two more. they should be bendy like tortillas should be.
