I'm with veggiefreak.. I'm totally missing it. I've searched the website and emailed for more info and I still don't know what it's all about! I can't commit to something until I know what I'm committing to in a real way. I've got the general ideal of reclaiming my natural physique and vibrant health but I want the "nuts and bolts" of how participating in this challenge will help me

This may be a really dumb question but is this a cyber thing? Or is it something done with you in "real time and space?" I got confused when I was looking at your website..

I personally feel great about the six or so hours a week I squeeze in at the gym exercising. It's crucial for my health. Looking good is just an added bonus. It's been a cold and gray winter here in the pacific nw, not very inviting for regular outdoor activity. Ideally I'd love to get all my exercise gardening, hiking, biking or building a rock wall...but it's not realistic for me at this time.

I make nut milk a lot, about every other day. My favorite is a combination of walnuts, macadamia nuts and almonds. Lately I've gotten into a rhythym..soak the nuts before bed and make the nut milk in the morning. I usually make a gallon at a time, and flavor half vanilla (with dates, vanilla and irish moss) and half chocolate (with dates, cacao, agave and irish moss). It's simple to make and sooo

lately I've been make a blend of orange, mango and pineapple juice in the morning. The mango makes the juice really thick even though I juice it. I've thought of just juicing the oranges and then blending it with the mango and pineapple but I'm usually moving pretty fast in the morning, and once the juicer is messy from the oranges I don't feel like getting the blender messy too. Too much clean u

I just bought raw almonds from Anderson Almonds, a farm in Cali. For me the only way to be really sure is to buy nuts straight from the farm.

Thanks for all the responses! Well, I ended my fast after 8 days. I pretty much just kept up my fruit drink because it was soo good, but I did simplify my veggie juices. my favorite ended up being cucumber, celery, spinach, kale, apple. I also really liked carrot, beet, celery, cucumber, parsley. I'll probably do a juice fast every month for 3-7 days. I really liked how it made me feel. Now

thanks for the response WY! I agree with you that the "key" to detoxing is to eliminate the toxins going in! I've been detoxing for four years now, eating between 90 - 100% raw and doing many cleanses, just never a juice cleanse. I've really been enjoying it! I feel fantastic! I also think I'll make my juices simpler from now on. I guess I was trying to get a bit of everything in eac

I just did a two week MC and went straight into a juice fast. I'm really not sure what I'm doing exactly so I've just been going by intuition, drinking fruit earlier in the day and veggies later in the day. I'd really like some feedback from some experienced juicers about how I'm going about it. Each morning I wake up and drink 16 oz. of water. Then I'll have a cup of herbal tea, usually peppe

Is your veggie stock raw? If so, how do you make it? How do you think it would be to use nut milk or coco water instead of veggie stock?

Wow! Thanks for all the suggestions! I've actually never been to a raw restaurant before and I'm soo looking forward to it. There's only one anywhere close to where I live, and it's an hour away in Seattle, I just haven't made it there yet. Thanks again!

Hey everyone! I'm going to be spending a week in southern cal at the end of the month and I was hoping that some of you could suggest some good raw restaurants. I'll be in San Diego and LA and want to find restaurants in both cities. Which ones are the best? And what items on the menu do you recommend? Thanks! Love and peace

Your sprout scene is very inspiring! I usually just use a jar and some screen with a rubber band but seeing your setup makes me want to try to be more productive. What sprouting jars are you using and where did you get them? Thanks!

I love the master cleanse! I've done it around 8 times, always at least 14 days, once for 34 days. I will probably do it every three months for the rest of my life! I've always done it by the book in the past, but this last time I modified it a bit, just to see how I felt. For one thing I used raw agave instead of the maple syrup. I also had about 16 oz of fresh coco water a day in addition to th

My friend makes the best nut milk! she uses a combination of almonds, walnuts and macademia nuts. Then she blends in some dates and some soaked irish moss to thicken it. Sometimes she adds some raw cacao and agave and makes chocolate milk, or some vanilla bean to make vanilla milk.

I try to eat as close to 100% as I can, but on occasion I still eat quinoa and steamed veggies, especially ones I don't particularly care for raw, like artichokes or brocolli. I think it's good to be very conscious of which cooked foods I am eating. In my opinion there is an enormous difference between cooked quinoa and steamed veggies and a pizza. Focus on what foods make YOU feel good!

i find that raw ingredients that go into raw food packaged items are simply more expensive than non-raw ingredients. just making my own raw cookies...if i were to package and sell them myself they would have to be pretty expensive to pay for the ingredients, plus my time to make them, package them, and market them. add the graphic design work for the labels, the cost of using a food grade kitchen
