You look great, john. Even working at a 'health food grocery store', many many people your age and younger struggle to walk around, walk with gimps, etc. Both employees and customers alike.

what happens if one doesn't juice enough calories on a juice fast, john? i am confused on that bit. its difficult for me to drink a gallon or more of juice a day, and i don't even juice carrots. by the end of the day i look at my gallon of juice and want to throw it out of the window. some people do well on water fasts it seems, though because of my work schedule i'm not able to attempt this

Is the species that dwells peacefully within its habitat with respect for the rights of other species the one that is inferior? Or is it the species that wages a holy war against its habitat, destroying all species that irritate it? I'm shocked that humans could live and survive on this planet for millions of years and evolve the ability to create something like the scientific method without thirty measly years of modern western science explaining the one and only proper diet for the billions upon billions of humans which have ever existed. How did we not just kick over and die without our perfect ratio of fats to veggies?

Yeah tai, no sense even attempting to speak intelligently with the "woo scientism" crowd. Their view so arrogant and ignorant that its truly not worth the time. What I do find a tad ironic is imagining what a western doctor would say if some NH went into their office and said "a diet of dates and lettuce is optimal." They'd be laughed out of the building.

Awesome way to turn back the clock, rawgosia. Hope to see more transformation pictures! Mine isn't so dramatic, most people have thought I was freshly graduated from high school throughout my twenties. I have noticed I look a bit older having now help raise two children.

I've always wondered what raw folks think of nutritional yeast. Hear conflicting things. Gabriel Cousens for example used to recommend it, then later recommended against it as he said it promotes yeast in the body. I've heard numerous other people say this isn't so since its not active yeast or something.

I saw their coconut oil, at that price per amount it's about a fourth of what I pay at whole foods, even with my discount. And the one I get doesn't even taste very good quality. As for the skin, you both make interesting points. I do know however that after eating the skin I saw some very large what I'm pretty sure were parasites in my stool. For a couple of days. Ive relaxed recently on

i have, but using fulvic acid instead of shilajit. i don't think i did them properly, as i just heard him say it should be a slow, eight hour or so ordeal. but never the less, it always produced some interesting experiences in the bathroom. i've been considering giving them a try again even though i don't necessarily follow his diet. the aloe/cactus smoothies seem to be really, really, reall

tai, i see what you're saying. and i am by no means trying to criticize, it just seems as though the past few days arguments between arugula and other members have spilled into various threads over disagreements that both parties are never going to agree on. i personally don't see the point. its one thing to point out shortcomings, its another to just argue seemingly for the sake of doing so.

Arugula, I enjoy learning what you have to say, especially with regards to CR, so I want to ask you an honest question: if youre so intelligent, which I do believe you are, have read enough studies to figure it out, have a nice job and degrees and such, what do you get out of spending so much time on a mostly anonymous public web forum arguing with those you percieve beneath you about a diet you

Maybe its just a Texas thing, but I have only been to one fit doctor in my life, and he looked as though he was using some sort of performance enhancing drug. So I disagree and can't blame it all on the patients.

I don't mind the mystical mumbo jumbo as long as its spoken from direct experience. If science and mds and doctors had it all figured out, united States wouldn't be the location of the largest population of obese people as I just read today. I don't work healing people like tai, so my stories aren't as great, but I have met a great deal of rich, intelligent people who have good doctors whi

After watching a few of his recent videos, I really enjoy tavis' energy. Dsn however doesn't seem to be doing too well imo. His skin doesn't look radiant and appears to have trouble speaking at times. Too much fasting? What do you guys think?

If you think for one second these compounds are 'easy', you obviously have no experience with them. Ayahuasca or DMT are far from an easy, comfortable experience. Most people familiar with them do not recommend them to others who are not ready, and almost always can be found highly recommending meditation before hand. Its not for @#$%& and giggles and anyone who believes otherwise is unfamiliar o

it's strange how eating more like our supposed chimp ancestors seems to bring out the ape like behavior in almost everyone who follows such raw diets. very nasty stuff. i think gabriel cousens was spot on when he said one can not eat their way to god/enlightenment. if there is a positive in this is that it encourages me to practice meditation more frequently! thanks for posting th
