i don't know much about blood sugar, but i wouldn't trust what a bunch of people promoting specific diets say with regards to the psychological and physiological aspects of hunger, especially when one tries to reduce it to some sort of impulse in the brain. such as: "“Delaying a meal brings about symptoms most people call “hunger.” These symptoms include abdominal cramping, weakne

i'll try to watch these videos when i have a chance. i will say that yes, there is a lot of fake shamans out there who take advantage of gullible westerners who seem to take their image of a shaman from the carlos castaneda books, or mythological healers. most healers in the amazon don't call themselves shamans or sorcerers, but rather 'curanderos' or even 'vegetalistas.' true healers consider th

i sprout it using the jar method, soak over night and wash many many times. sprouts very quickly. i was watching a video of gabriel cousens, and he mentioned that with grains and pseudo grains, one of the things he recommends is heating water to 150 and placing it on top of the grains to sit over night, making it easier to eat and more palatable, and at this temperature enzymes are not destr

What was the last cooked food item you consumed? And do you remember when it was? How it made you feel?

There have been some recent studies and lots of anecdotal evidence to show that these medicines can help with post traumatic stress of all kinds. You will have to do a lot of research and studying though. Ayahuasca in particular will interfere with certain antidepressants and can cause serotonin syndrome. I would always recommend going to a trust worthy highly reviewed healer too. Which ca

Too late to edit, but to clarify I think I remember corona saying he doesn't physically exercise, but exercises his insides with his master breathing techniques, which along with his love for life gives him all the strength he needs, including holding himself up with his legs outstretched, which anyone who has tried this knows is not by any stretch of the imagination an easy feat.

I work with many, many people between the ages of thirty and sixty, and literally all of them look older then cousens. He looks great imo, soft skin, I've seen him do yoga as well. Corona I think doesn't exercise, if I recall correctly, but he has immense strength. He displays it often. Arugula, I was wondering because I'm inyterested in Cr, how does one exercise well enough eating sm

i actually love the taste of raw sprouted and fermented buckwheat. in the past i have mixed it with also raw and sprouted quinoa and amaranth, blending them for a bit and eating it sour, kind of like an oatmeal dish or something. it's been a while, i've been wanting to try this again soon though. maybe mixing in some mesquite meal with it.

man, those people look rough and nasty. it's too bad raw veganism looks like a joke from the outside. such a small amount of people in the population are raw vegan, and even in that small faction there is a large percentage of public 'failures', not many people seem to get along in a civilized manner on these boards, the whole douglas graham being an out of license chiropractor giving out quack a

Very well said panchito. Seems as though the only thing that will encite change is an economic collapse. And even then people would rather likely suicide than 'starve' from not having their steaks and ribs. And my bad, didn't see that thread.

This was like reading something from a different planet than one in which conscious eaters inhabit. Millions upon millions of dollars being spent to combat 'age related diseases' with some wonder drug. Its crazy. I wonder what it would be like if that kind of money was being spent on nutritional studies, herbs , super foods, etc. Instead of killing these poor rats with the promise of 12

The harmless harvest stuff goes bad very quickly. We were having trouble at whole foods because the grocery guys weren't stocking it fast enough off the truck, or refrigerating it quickly enough. Whole boxes were spoiling. I think they use pressure instead of pasteurization? Or something. Either way its definitely the tastiest when compared to the can stuff.

love this thread, coconutcream! i agree, this is IT. this forum is more important than most people think because of the reason people argue so much, the diversity in everyone's diet. there aren't any long term raw vegan scientific studies that i know of that exist, and there probably won't be for a long time. we are the guinea pigs. learn from trial and error. can't trust what the gurus say
