I made pumpkin juice and created a refreshing pumkin beverage: 1 quart pumpkin juice 2.5 cups fresh orange juice 1.5 cups coconut milk (I made fresh coconut milk and then blended it with 8 dates and a vanilla bean. I only used water and half of one mature coconut to make the milk, so it wasn't too fatty. I also strained it and did not use the pulp) I shook the juices together in a 2 quar

And I forgot to mention first and foremost two raw foods that can help: fresh living aloe vera and fresh raw hot pepper. Hot pepper has been used to stop bleeding and actually help to heal stomach ulcers and it is antibiotic. HOw much you use is up to your tolerance. THe more you use, the higher your tolerance. Different peppers will react differently. Try a range of fresh organic ones, from

Hi I learned the following protocol from Apex energetics. Take two bottles of HPLR in a month and retest. THe breath test is supposedly the most accurate. Everyone in your household, including pets should be treated, because it is passed back and forth easily. It is very common to get it eating in restaurants from infected cooks/chefs. I list the ingredients, in case you want to try somethi

YET, as I said a few times, it truly is authentic cheese and if someone has a party to go to and wants to have a vegan option, it's great. But it's not a health food with so much salt. By the way, it does not taste salty. It tastes normal. But be

SueZ: I hope you have come to realize that making truly raw vegan aged cheese from sprouted sunflower and sesame seeds is not a good idea. Me: Yes, I did figure it out. I only figured it out by eating a lot of Miyoko's cheese, since buying it on Sunday. It turns out that aged nut cheese is just glorified salty dried salad dressing. No offense to Miyoko, because her cheese is truly gourm

I wanted to give a bit more information to understand that persecution in China. From www.faluninfo.net: To date over 3,000 deaths have been documented, as well as over 63,000 accounts of torture. An estimate of the real figure puts the actual death toll in the tens of thousands (more about torture) When the persecution was launched in 1999, tens of millions of Chinese who practiced the me

As I mentioned, Hippocrates Institute stopped recommending rejuvelac when testing revealed that there could be both good and bad batches (undesirable bacteria) and it is hard to control. At th

Suvine: SO no miso is raw! Tai: The irony is that miso IS a vegan living food product. It may not be 100% raw but it is 100% living food. And as SueZ said, one CAN make it raw. By the way, I let my cat smell the aged raw vegan cheese and he chased me through the backyard trying to get a piece. I finally gave him one. Same with my other cat; she gobbled it up.

Today I got to sample an array of "raw" vegan aged cheeses. I know that miso, nutritional yeast and cashews are not considered raw, but all non raw ingredients can be substituted for raw when you make it yourself. So I asked an insider today with the company and the trick is aging the cheese in cold storage at 45 degree temperature with 80% humidity from between 3-4 weeks or 6

YOu are 5'8" and weigh 110 pounds. It sounds like you are hungry! It looks like you just need more food in general, all of the above, more fat, carbs and protein. I recommended you watch Lou Corona to learn how to make nut and seed yogurt, since he helped many raw vegans who were underweight to put weight and muscle on. Some people have a hard time digesting nuts, so his method of nut y

The field of functional medicine relies on blood tests, and it was in these classes that I learned about lowering the glycemic value of fruit with protein. They are looking at blood tests all day long, year in and out. They do use supplements, but they also work with nutrition. They don't push vegan but the end result is that they correct blood sugar problems. And when I said that juices ar

I am so happy you brought this up SueZ, because it gave me a chance to reflect on something that I had not thought of before. Lou Corona has this recipe called Gorilla Milk. It is so awesome. He makes a kind of coconut milk (he could add tocotrienols, almonds, etc to it) and mixes the green juice with it. Well, what I had not considered before is perhaps fat lowers glycemic value, as

Hi JTP, You used to refute studies done on fat, because it was not raw "living" fat, but perhaps heated fat. The same is true for studies done on pasteurized fruit juice. Look at what most Americans drink: cranberry juice in a plastic bottle made from concentrate or pasteurized orange juice in a cardboard container or pasteurized apple juice made from iffy apples. I didn't read th

REcently I bought a 38 pound jackfruit. I bought the biggest jackfruit available. It was so plump that the spikey edges were rounded. If any of the jackfruits had the potential to be free of latex, it was going to be this one. I let it ripen for one week. Initially it was green when I bought it. Over the course of a week, it turned yellow. I rotated it daily The first day I bought it,
