Manta, I am not criticizing you, but just leaving a few comments. First, raw dairy has hurt some people. My vegan mentor was a dairy farmer and it was the infected milk (mastitis) that caused his daughter to lose hearing in one ear. I myself got sick twice from raw goat cheese (organic, etc), when I experimented as a raw foodist (not to mention getting strept throat numerous times as a chil

Vegan...angel: What are some of the folks who are current now, that you love, who are fully vegan? Tai: Lou Corona, Brian and Anna Marie Clement. Regarding Sergei Boutenko, it's one thing for him to be eating animal foods now that he is well, but he was healed of type 1 diabetes on a strict raw vegan diet.

TSM wrote: the enzyme theory Lou talks about is not correct. Tai: Can you briefly explain why? I know one example is that some people might be low in hydrochloric acid, so taking digesting enzymes may not be addressing the real cause in every case. Also, in my own experience, I often have better success with herbal digestive formulas for people's indigestion compared to digestive enzy

That's really gross. I recently bought a conventional honeydew melon and even though I peeled it, the edge of the peeled melon tasted strange, with almost a hint of mold flavor. I figure it had been sitting in something strange on the ground and had been washed off, so nothing could be seen on it, but somehow it had penetrated the melon. It was grown in California, probably from there. Tha

It's totally fine, if you don't want to partake or ever need to. Really hot peppers are said to stop heart attacks. My uncle once believed my aunt to be suffering from one and he gave her a strong dose of cayenne tincture (my guess was that it was around 300,000 heat units, which is very hot. He claimed it stopped it, and there were witnesses. When my mother seemed to be suffering from a h

Holy smokes! I just ate my first ghost chili. I got a plant from the nursery and I took one about the size of my thumb tip and put it in my salad dressing and blended. The dressing was for two salads (6 romaine hearts and 2 lbs of persian cucumbers). Woah, it was so hot, neither of us could finish our salads. It made me sweat a little and I could feel hotter in general in my whole body.

Raw P: Most are contaminated especially roadside. Tai: Good point. One can't just go around eating flowers as they please without understanding first what they are doing. Every flower must be studied first to make sure that it is edible. For example, Datura flowers are exquisitely fragrant and beautiful but contain poisonous alkaloids. Datura flowers definitely should not be eaten,

I thought it would be interesting for people to share their favorite edible flowers. Right now, my ginger plants are flowering and I have been enjoying 1-5 flowers daily. I just ate some with my black figs. Ginger flowers have a slight jasmine fragrance and a delicate ginger sweetness. Ginger flowers are amazing...definitely one of the best treats of the garden. This spring I ate a lo

So yes, I did gain weight on just fruits (and no overt fats), but they were the most dense fruits, high in calories. Tai: THat is so fascinating. Thanks for sharing. So Brian CLement and Dr. Gregor were right about fruit and we

Suncloud: In the two Texas Hill Country towns where I lived, everyone my age (20s-30s at the time) had attended segregated schools. When integration finally came, none of the minority boys were allowed on the football team, and none of the minority girls could be cheerleaders. For the Black women a decade older, there had been no high school at all. The only high schools within 60 miles were Whi

At first I thought it was from the watermelon, but now I'm thinking it was rather from the bananas (which are high in calories and dense) AND the watermelon, as I had too many calories altogether. Is this what he has said in some part of the video? And, did he give s

Suvine: I do like my nut mylk raw cacao, I had that as meal replacement for lunch Tai: Nutmilk potentially could be high calorie. A half cup of almonds is about 400 calories. How many nuts do you use for your nutmilk? Then one banana is 100 calories. Adding a few medjool dates can add another 100 calories. Boom, a person can be at 600 calories for a lucious nutmilk. There are side effects and when you overdose, the side effects can be debilitating. As I said, even in the raw state, the average plant is high in THC and can still get you high (especially for raw foodists that use the vitamix and some kind of fat in their smoothie

Yes, Suvine, I like your memes. They were hilarious. I wonder if Brian's anti-fruit stance has anything to do with his wife. I heard her speak on a video and she said how she used to get headaches eating dried fruit. I will find the video later. I still want to learn about weight gain with banana smoothies. How many bananas did you put in your smoothies? How fast did you drink them

I shared my comment about this in another thread. By the way, the marijuana that is not psychoactive is the low THC variety. The high THC variety is still psychoactive in a raw state. From what I know, when the plant is fully budded, even the low THC varieties (the high CBD kind) increase in THC with full buds. I fell for William Courtney's spiel that it is just a food. Certa

OK, SueZ, here you go. Al Carter, author of the Cancer Answer, talks about fluoride starting at 1:10:50 and then gets into the nitty gritty at 1:17 and specifically talks about the federal reserve from 1:19 to 1:21. He quotes from "Keeping our money healthy," published by the federal reserve. It is a worthy quote to transcribe, but I don't have time at the moment. I think

Just because I am posting this does not mean I am a fan of this young man. I thought it was an interesting video, though. It is about weight gain with carbs. Debunking Raw Till 4 With T. What do you all think of Brian's statement that fructose can cause weight gain? His video is about sugar in general, but I am curious about this particular topic that he brings up. My own personal experience is that when, at times, I have gained weight by over-eating fat, I go on a no-fat diet with lots of fruit and greens and quickly lose weight. It's hard for me to imagine that fruit could

But I noticed that you mix it into your ice cream. So what do you do with
