I have read that green smoothies (fruit based with some greens, like kale, collards, etc), can allow one to transition to raw without necessarily losing weight.

you could tell a knock knock joke a la Trailer Park Boys... You: Knock knock. Them: Who's there? You: F*#$ OFF! But seriously, other people don't know how to think, at all, so if someone attacks you, tell them they can email you their thoughts or write out their reasoning in a prepared manner, at which point you will read those criticisms (and perhaps choose whether or not to respond).

I would perhaps consider the quantity of fruit eaten, the quality of said fruit, and how long it takes you to eat it. Those might be good places to start.

I have had somewhat similar detox symptoms... I've been raw for about 30+ hours, and I was raw for about 60 with a short stop a few days back... I'll keep you posted if the symptoms become stronger.

I would like to add that at the age of 21 or so I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis, and I beat it with eating more and more properly. You are not struggling. You are winning.... keep focusing on what you want

I agree that, unless one knows perfectly how much protein one should get, that "not getting enough protein" should be a concern, just like I believe in the possibility of "getting too much protein".
