.... although, I'm not sure if that is a wig she is wearing or not, and the hair on a woman, is the first thing I observe, to see if she is healthy or not. She does have nice skin.

She is stunningly beautiful! And the first mission I had when I clicked on her website, was to look at her fat intake. She eats lots of nuts, seeds and avocados! So to me, she is getting more protein and fat, hence her healthy and youthful appearance. She is a wonderful role model, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing Raine! I'm 43 with two teens who are 18 & 20. I've been a vegetarian fo

"hard to find pumpkin seeds." Pumpkin seeds are so easy to find and buy. They sell them everywhere. Just go to a Whole Foods, Wild Oats,Farmers Market, Trader Joes, any health food store, even the grocery store may have them. I live in California and they are everywhere... maybe not the case where confuzed lives.... but I doubt that he would have a hard time finding raw pumpkin seed

I just had a test to see if I'm anemic and I have anemia. My hemoglobin is 9. I'm very concerned and wonder if anything terrible can happen with it this low? Has any other women here had this same low hemoglobin? Can you tell me what you did to get your hemoglobin up again? And how long did/does this take? Months? A year?

I guess organic watermelon season is over and the only thing left is non-organic watermelon. Is this ok to eat? I've been almost 100% organic for about 20 years, so forgive me if I seem crazy for asking this. Do they spray a lot of pesticide on non-organic? I'm craving watermelon so bad, and want to buy one, but not sure if I should. Thank you!

I only buy organic... but the season is ending =( Maybe I'll freeze a bunch, because I'm not sure how I'd manage without watermelon.

I love watermelon! I eat 1/2 of a medium size watermelon a day! They are soo good I can't stop eating them. I crave watermelon everyday, and I feel great! Just wondering if anyone knows if this is too much. Sometimes I'll have a banana too, but mostly watermelon. Of course I'm eating veggies, sprouted nuts and seeds too. Thanks!

My family ridiculed me since I was 18 for being a vegetarian..... it was the same story every holiday......."Ewwwww!!! What is that? Tofurky!!!" I used to get into heated debates simular to politicians slinging mudd at each other... it was ugly! Then one day, I decide that veins popping out of my neck while having an angry heated debate over why organic is best or why meat is terrible

I was wondering if some of the ingredients are "safe" stimulants? I can't eat chocolate or other energizers because they make me to nervous. But I may be wrong. The ingredients look impeccably clean and organic though.

No doubt that raw food is healthy and should be a huge portion of our diets. Maybe go approx. 75% raw and add back your heated above 118* organic protein sources. I've added organic rice protein (low heat processes, so I think it's considered a raw food) to my regime and organic raw milk, which may be taboo to most here, but you have to do what's best for you. I understand your anger personally.

Wow! I guess it was intuitive that I just have never had a good feeling about Agave and never used it, except for when I bought the raw dessarts at the health food stores that uses it as a sweetener. Tequila huh!? Geeze! That's bad.

I'm all organic if it's available! Many people complain they can't afford to buy organic then they spend money on all kinds of other things like cigarettes, booze, junk food & silly stuff in general.

Thanks to my raw friends here! Bryan, love your article! I am an outdoorsey fitness fan, so I do get out atleast a few times a week for a hike and I work out with weights. I sleep like a baby and don't really have a lot of stress in my life. Romantically I'm in a happy relationship and all else is well, for the most part. I tend to be a little thin, so I'm eating more protein and I've gained some

First I want to say that I absolutely LOVE raw food. I could live on raw vegan food, and cooked food is not as tasty as it was before. With that being said, we've all heard "some food is just mean't to be cooked". Like beans for instance. Cooked beans, prior to going raw, were a staple for me. I'm allergic to soy, gluten and hemp, so it was beans, beans and more beans, the magical fruit

Maybe you need some new raw recipes that are delicous. We have a few local health food markets nearby, that have deli raw food... raw pizza, falafel, hummus, cakes and deserts, dips, cookies, ...and although they are a little pricey, it atleast gave me ideas on what to make myself at home, when I found they were absolutely delicous. Creative raw delicous recipes were the key for me.

..so I'm googling chick peas, and I find all this information about chick peas causing a crippling Lathyrism disease. This is very discouraging... it seems like everything is bad for us. I love to make sprouted chick pea hummus too. Does anyone know anything about this? Is there a missing piece of the puzzle here? Is this true?
