in addition to the above posts I would probably set your sites on a transition diet. that eliminates the most unhealthful foods and is based around sprouts then your grow yourself and the corser non gluten grains that can be purchased in bulk. other foods that would function well and are cheap are various yams and potatoes (when purchased non-organic). I would probably throw the whole idea of

well...like most things, people want to cram all ideas as some kind of black and white thing either to dismiss it or embrace it as salvation or resolution. i.e. as some kind of spiritual shift that happens overnight or contrarily as some great catastrophe I personally think we are witnessing (and have been for some time) an acceleration of such things. So I do believe there will be MORE wit

I would rather date a secure, put together omni woman then a judgemental vegan in the midst of serious emotional detox...ANYTIME LOL. As for a long term thing is is of course different. But I would be with a conscious omni for life depending on their other health goals and values, spiritual practice etc... There has been nothing in all of my research that leads me to believe that veganism

hey, its not up to anybody to decide what you need to do. But It is up to you - I believe - to troubleshoot your own problem honestly. From the first post, I don't see what benefit at all you are gaining from your current system, if there is then by all means stick with it. Like I said there is no need to do anything 'extreme' but clearly from your results alone (without me having to go i

I havn't consumed all that much beet juice but when I have I have seen 'beet red' in my stool but never in urine. I do believe what you have repeated about carrot juice and discoloration to be due to failings of the liver and NOT of the carrots pigmentation. So you might have SOME concern there...as discoloration in urine is NOT normal. but I wouldn't sweat it just yet. weigh any observed advanta

personally I don't think eating - an addition - of any healthful food will create a whole lot of health - or any - while neglecting the real habits and prior issues that create discomfort. that said I don't think the solution HAS to be extreme in any way. or cutting out this or that food. food combing issues are not limited to which foods you eat in a single sitting, being aware of how long

right. Anyone who tries to deny the existence of 'god' via scientific argument really has their head in Newtonian sand, not looking or experiencing that which is all around them at all times. "Thank god" things are finally shifting about even in intellectual circles. Let those of doubt cling to the reality they want...they can keep it. But I suspect they will want to write the co

I have some experience with this and I have to say, that although the whole material thing can be construed this way or that way...when someone starts becoming aware of the 'illusion' of it-it is easy to want to swing the pendulum the other way creating the idea that one needs to act immediately in the direction of removing all that is material from their life. Its kinda the equivalent of changin

I got shot by some some guy firing out of a window once..scared the crap out of me and felt like rubber bullet. it happens immediately after I saw people across the street dive into their car...so by the time I was hit my adrenaline was already up...yeah some people are twacked! but in my observations I seem to have a greater chance of bumping into someone who seems to radiate bliss and joy..

Right..its sounds like all the great things you have thought of...are a bit risky because as we know, even for a young person a diet composed exclusively of these foods will initiate some kind of detox. For an older person with a very large toxic load even adding some 'bio-active' foods CAN interact with medications or 'cause' upsetting symptoms etc.. Personally I think that best things one ca

the very nature of a forum is that certain behavior is allowed and some isn't - going back to the time where the forum was a real place of discussion. You couldn't walk in naked and start insulting people and make accusations that arn't true. just the name alone cites: 'raw foods' and 'community support' the only things that get 'censored' are things that clearly violate the forums rules.

It is my understanding that Quinn promotes - if anything - a return to a society where the fruits of the earth and of labor are not systematized and kept under lock and key. That the only truly sustainable societies are the 'leaver' societies, or societies that only produce and enough to be consumed for their current needs and more or less leave their surrounding habitat intact and flourishing.

Set up very similar to Ishmael. where the story is just a pretense for a polemic... the plot mainly revolves around a group of males who hear of and travel to their land..only to be captured and under scrutiny as possibilities to 'bi-sexualize' the society. In capture of and subsequent education of the societies functioning , they share their differences on patriarchal society which is the bulk o

as far as the literature I have read, Natural Hygiene is very sketchy on any disease or degeneration that appears to be transferred via sexual contact. AS even many of the AIDS debunking theories believe the disease to be to be partially caused by a weakened system due to syphilis. Personally I think the source of disease IS the process of the body attempting to understand/decode and resolve

- Another idea is that is fairly incongruous is that it is unnatural to consume juice. As if that has any meaning anyway. - Whenever posed with this argument, I usually shrug and agree, as I am personally a big proponent of doing what is appropriate in un-natural circumstances, as opposed to listening to idealistic dogma - however a few points on 'natural' juice. - As raw foodists it is

- I've heard people argue that the entire system from mouth to intestine to anus is a kin to a pristine tube, yet it is these same people who believe it is necessary and healthy to have matter constantly pushing through that tube in order to function. Now both points have their possibility, but they are certainly incongruent. - If someone indeed did not have internal deposits they would free

Fresh I was referring not at all to your post. I said it was OK to pass on contrary information, you didn't put your spin on it so I don't see why you are getting defensive. If I mentioned 'website' is because I was speaking of phenomena that goes way beyond this thread. 2.) I've already exonerated Graham in my post, why would I pick a fight with him? He has his ideas, and that is OK...its

glorified hygienic expert Dr. Graham HAS used enemas (albeit in a very small percentage of cases) he speaks out vehemently against them as a practice yes, and puts forward what he believes is a better for the body as per his philosophic 'natural' theories. and thats OK but here we have the same nonsense as the recent supplement thread. How can translate from 'unnecessary' to 'useless' is be

the exterior can never be 'too brown'. I think with refrigeration..they can even turn black. What you want to look out for is obvious signs of fermentation on the actual banana. dark squishy spots should NOT be eaten (of course a bite or too won't kill you) if the banana itself does not show signs of these spots but still tastes like alcohol then toss it. fruit ripening is like a mountain p

not that it really matters but I do have 4 semesters of calculus, statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, but yes..only basic biology and chemistry...officially. they are all kind like the equivalent of a 'paperweight' in my mind these days collecting dust. just because you can using newtons laws to predict how the trusses of a bridge appear to behave unfortunately does not mean they are suitable t

well personally I don't put much stock in those subjects the basic tenent of core biology: all life uses the same common methods of energy utilization, growth, genetic storage, heredity, reproduction and development hmm..nope it also assumes natural selection and evolution to be an absolute when actually it is a widely disputable theory (and not just from wacko creationists) When

sure I can tell you I know very little of the (raw) science of it. If you are curious you might try Fred Bisci's literature because I know he's a big proponent of them. one major obvious difference is the temperature is far lower but you begin sweating far quicker. from a quick surface examination on wiki: "The radiation hits the surface of the body and heats through a process cal

>>You start with NOTHING, and have to prove EVERY assertion you make about the world. That is the rational approach which makes sense. the first reason this is false is the obvious. that all concepts have to filter through language and/or visual example in order to be related to other people as 'proofs' anyone just has to dip into any semiotic/post structural philosophy to realize the

I think it you live away from major population centers, rainwater (or snow I suppose) is surely your best source of naturally distilled water. Snow in any source is cleaner then unfiltered water I would imagine...and should be largely free of the contaminates that are intentionally put into the water supply. If you are very picky about water however you might want to pass.
