cleary chewing your food is best, but I was looking for an answer that involves the actual mechanics of digestion. I'm talking about very small bits of things like a piece of cinnamon that had essentialy been broken into bits and not actually 'blended'. and whether it would hold up digestion, and interfere with a subsequent entry.

yeah, I wasn't saying you won't experience positive effects with the juicing, I was simply saying you can experience those effects gradually through incorporating jucing, and fasting (going for a period of time on juice and water alone) since it will not likely prevent symptoms (most likely it will make them more intense, hence detoxing) might not be whats right. but mostly I agree with Galile

you probably don't want to be juicing that late at night, if for no better reason then you want to have juice always on an empty stomach. best to juice first thing..well.. after having a good ammount of watter in your system. or waiting at least 3-4 hours after having even light food, even fruit, unless its melons or something. and probably not at all that day if you have had something dense like

I've been blending whole cinnamon sticks with a very weak blender for the past week or so. I've wised up and decided this isn't the best idea. but I was curious what happens when very dense hard things like this or pit fragments or I guess maybe even unchewed pieces of nuts hit the digestive system. do they stick around and the body attempts to digest them or do they make an exit at some point
