Today I did what has become 1 of 2 main exercise routines mainly revolves around an exercise where I've combined a few extra yoga poses into the hindu pushup (where it is in itself almost a push-up version of the standard vinasa - (Plank, Chaturanga, and Upward Facing Dog.) I always keep my feet totally flat so swinging back and forth is similar to 'dolphin' pose as well and I really push the

I think the main idea which people are trying to put forth is that 1.) you won't get that kind of physique - with the caveat - that doesn't jeopardize your long term health goals on a raw food path. 2.) That everyone has some degree of stuck energy and internal deposits from their diet and lifestyle and environmental habits/experience - and yes I believe genetic inheritance as well, and t

Paulie I hear you on how contradictory all the information sounds..but really there is a very easy way to circumvent this " you have to pick a side mentality" but I must ask..are you in some kind of crisis? if not why not just step back to what WAS working for you and slowly integrate some of these other concepts I think what people are saying is to definitively know before h

CB you need to get out more dude! no explanations? folks certainly make claims about being in contact with the dead all the time..i'm certainly not gonna bite and venture into defending THAT, but I do often feel that the second part: that the reincarnated - hence everyone - has some residue of a memory of past experiences and IS tied to individuals in this life due to karmic agreements.

personally I think any activity where there is the potential for play and spontaneity and fun beats out any activity where rules and systems and 'practice' factor in as far as true growth. from what I hear this is an increasing trend in contemporary ed. I certainly have respect for people refining even the most esoteric of practices with dedicated study but there is certainly the concept of

bill I don't see why these theories are mutually exclusive. I for one am pretty confidant in my experience that the former has some validity. and yet I'm also willing to appreciate that a mind not burdened by such material (or one that can somehow overcome it) might have the ability to receive universal energy in the forms of premonitions.

I know exactly what you are talking about. when growing the sprout into a sunflower green the initial casing comes off the sprout and does indeed smell I've tried a couple of methods. non are all that successful. I was hoping on someone else chiming in towards the end of sprouting I switch from the jar to a salad spinner and pick out the greens by hand and put them back in the jar for a

um. "As an objection to the patent laws, some people cite the fact that two inventors may work independently for years on the same invention, but one will beat the other to the patent office by an hour or a day and will acquire an exclusive monopoly, while the loser's work will then be totally wasted. This type of objection is based on the error of equating the potential with the actual.

to me its all good. even good actually art ultimately is about (first hand) experience. so music is changeing from a product based industry to a performance based one . the methods for recording and distribution of music has changed and those concerned have payed for it by having a larger group of competition with a shrinking market for products, but an increased audience for quality live m

right...you better sit up strait and listen son. although if you think i'm only address semantics. "is whole better than not whole that rules out powders, juiced foods, recipes " "Surely a wholefood is always better than a non whole food." I'm wrong to assume this means any whole food -I'm going to be lienent and assume one means a raw vegan and water-rich food - is better then any non whole food (even a mixed food/juice) in any circumstance? perhaps I could hav

there is a complete difference between consuming solid food and consuming juice which passes through the stomach and thus allows for more rest. If one was to just eat carrots, I guess you could consider that 'cleansing' because it would be absent of 'other things' but it wouldn't allow for the digestive rest of the juice fast, nor would it supply the minerals/neutralize toxins directly in the blo

are you sure? that would be like 3-4 or large heads of lettuce. I think that is probably overkill on your digestive system Romaine is a good staple green but isn't a dark leafy dark greens are like collards, kale, chard, things that arn't all that digestible raw except in small quantities. some think its ok to just have romaine and/or celery as a greens source, but especially if yo

there is nothing wrong with believing you have the optimum diet. to me this is not the same as saying you have the only workable diet. I don't see where I attacked anyones preference for whole foods. I criticized alot of the common arguments which are used to 'factor out' other workable systems. to me these arguments are totally bogus. I never once criticized anyone elses diet or said it couldn't

I don't know where you got the number 80, since the oldest of the folks being discussed (Shelton) didn't really even START experimenting with raw foods till around 80 or so years ago. also it seems like food quality and variety were much higher in the past so, other then knowledge as a stumbling block I don't think your point is that accurate. Especially for those indigenous to the tropical zo

92 days of juice = increased health 92 days of tomatoes = decreased health no doubt depending on if one has a very high level health they might do ok on 92 days of juicy fruit like oranges or watermelon but that isn't many people I could have listed plenty of whole foods which are less healthful then juiced celery. knowing what would surely come next...I skiped a step. if one wants to restr

right. I don't like to invoke science in this way, but I think its safe to say that none of the bones we have uncovered of ancient man died of degenerative disease. Only they truly died of 'wear and tear' from sheer expended energy, harsh climate, and lack of 'ideal' food. hunter-gatherers and numerous non-industrial populations throughout the world do not get cancer. even when their diets a

Personally I think having a short fuse and thin skin and confusing pity for empathy IS a real red flag and indicative of questionable health and happens to be present in some form in every hygienist I have ever met. he has changed his tone (for the better) on the boards the last couple of years. I'm assuming is more a PR move after it was pointed out by many. I agree that many of the above

ilive, It is commonly accepted in most raw food camps that toxemia is the source/process of health -> disease -> death disease is what the body uses to save it from death. taking the following route Enervation Toxemia. Irritation Inflammation. Ulceration. Induration. Cancer. cancer being the dramatic final atempt for the body to 'safely' store and expel toxins in the mo

conscious is a bitch of a one way stream that way I think at one point way back humans had more of a choice as to whether they wanted to stay in the state of nature or to move to a state of rules and judgments. but that is long gone thus we are in that relative web of justice and injustice, that to seems to us (as potential victims of unfairness) to require some standard in order for the
