. no need to be confused. . If it helps, I agree with karen . your body HAS everything it needs...it is only the mixing with internal wastes that causes the fatigue and desire for more rest. If you want to slow this down..simply slow down your diet. supplements and other refined OR dense OR mixed foods carry out the same function...better to take the cheap options! Although in some cases, s

. yeah..people often refer to the brown spots on bananas as 'sweet spots'. It really is the beginnings of fermentation, but like I mentioned, OK if it doesn't taste like alcohol.

. ha!, just think how laughable that would be to a SWdieter, those seem like the most healthy options to me...probably better then hitting up the dense raw fats IMO . you could try slowly adding more fresh fruits (prior to lunch and/or dinner salads). This should throw in some more calories..or whatever. So one night could be a meal of fruits + salad..another something light..like melon or a v

. great post Fresh. . the more you actually love the good habits/dietary changes that you implement MORE then the bad ones, the less the 'burden' you will have, long term that is. . Being selfish enough to give your world happiness, and feeling like you are giving yourself a great GIFT, something BETTER to give yourself, when you quit a bad habit...is really the essence of motivation.

. ha, yeah...if it gets to the point of dangling chicken legs in from of me (or a lady-friend) then they will certainly get a piece of my 'policy' ha!. . bring it up with him, but again, don't make HIM feel like he has to defend your lifestyle any more then YOU do, just that strait-forward ABUSE is not acceptable, not cool.

- Hey Shaine! . I don't know if there is a question or if this is just a report . For some...what constitutes a vegetarian diet is just plain awful:...very heavy on processed chemicals and starches..very little fresh stuff etc...on the other hand people that eat say a macrobiotic diet (which IS healthier then SAD because of leaving out lots of problematic foods) tend to not look healthy the

I think the best policy is to eat beforehand, and just say "I ate beforehand, I'm experimenting with preparing all my own foods for awhile, I don't want to mess with my record!, although I am tempted " . theres no need to ever even u

. unfortunately I disagree with you strange: . the idea of 'getting what we need' and "thriving through" the other crap is precisely what I'm arguing against. As health is about what one leaves OUT..its a practical impossibility (dietetically speaking: ignoring such things like joy and passion of course) . its precisely this idea of 'health' which makes a label like SWD apply s

. I posted an article recently in which science DOES think we will evolve to eating Hostess cakes. Makes it a rather simple decision which model to follow, heh . really the whole topic of evolution - for me - is just one big justification of our human mutation through genetic altering and spiritual deadening. Its about observing a linear reality of nature through our own gaze, and then app

. _ _ I think its less about nourishment and more about the nature of internal deposits. So yeah it could depend on the individual's health/background/genetics...and certainly their mindset, and JOY, and process for sure. . _ _ many people see the program, and forget or ignore the process. Others will argue to their death about theories..and never implement them fully into their life...because

the answer for your friends is: you don't, aka there is none, its like asking where do you get your MSG? we don't have the enzymes to actually assimilate complex carbs anyway...so let them have all they care for...and just eat what you find works well for you...and don't attempt to justify it to anyone. the only thing as I understand it that is essential to performance...is strong recovery

well, firstly..i have a typo..it should say excess not access. don't access excess! I don't get the deprevation thing..as you didn't expand...do you FEEL deprived? I dunno...there are things I could say, but it seems like a pretty good plan overall indeed. things to try - stretch: keeping nuts and fatty foods towards the end of the day (unless it just like a handful or whatever) and

quinoa is a grain..I think some people will get technical and call it a seed, but really it acts like a grain. its definitely one of the better, heartier, non-gluten choices. pretty excellent in my transition. ALL cooked matter will be harmful to some degree, its all about making the right choices for YOU...and many times - in transition - picking the lesser of evils. as long as it all

I've been consciously trying to keep most things in line for awhile now, like charms on a bracelet of friendship ...of course something always trails behind another..thats how these things work on the plus I've been getting tons of exercise, sun, fresh air, and rest. I make sure stress is very limited in my life..unless it is motivating in a way which leads me to make a bigger change.

many people ARE actually very addicted to negative states and don't realize it is this confrontation that a raw cleansing diet is aiding in stripping down the nice painted pictures or whatever that have made that state nice and tidy I agree with JJ's posts and do not find them cruel (although I find starting a whole thread based on a particular member to be a bit over the top) I wish th

I saw this raw film, and David Wolfe was in it, and he said that some people transitioning their diet might need to take a whole-foods supplement in cases like iron etc... I'm not saying I agree, I just thought it was pertient to mention that the term: transitional was used...not: 'for life as a result of poor raw choices' like people seem to stigmatize him for.

in the Renaissance they actually would paint a gold-leafed circle around people's heads. some level of photo-shopping is just part of our society now.. for one: digital cameras do not capture color and light like traditional cameras do and thus some color work/histogram modification is actually quite necessary I can only guess what you mean..about obvious handiwork..which never does an

one thing that never really enters into the discussion, which I think is important, is that most cooked foods are the WORST combinations of foods...nevermind all the altering..denaturing, creation of carcinogens etc...its all "cows with pasta with melted tomatoes and rasbery tart and pepcid AC for desert! please!" traditionally (not going ALL the way back to 'nature' etc...) peopl

fresh: Sometimes I write things late at night...and they arn't well composed or thought out. yet don't see why you took personal offence to what I wrote..as it was referring to the discussion surrounding Billings, and not about anyone's general experience per se. I agree with Nora's post, except that part about the keeping my grapes in the fridge..which I don't think is really a big deal well I guess my other minor disagreement is is in my agreement that food slows down whatever cleansing reaction that is going on...but that it is perfectly OK to 'suppress' symptoms such as weakness, irritability with simple raw foods even overeating raw foods (the id

I think its a Coolio... its more metaphorical...like Khale points out, whatever your wishes are..it CAN be done....you may loose interest in it..or go more passionate towards it... seeing it as a problem is merely attaching some kind of story to it. Some of the greatest composers couldn't hear etc...

I don't know how else to 'argue' this without using definitive terms I do believe that agrees with my definition of a quick fix? no? not passing judgment on it..simply saying that the idea that blending makes something MORE digestible then chewing throughly to be false, except if one CAN'T otherwise eat whole foods. Thats really the only argument that gripes me. If

I suspect not andrew, but any un-refrigerated store bought nut-butter won't be 'raw' in the first place..it just means heat wasn't used to process it. if something is sitting on a shelf..oils especially...the odds of it being fresh and vital are slim, even if it is cold-processed. although it might be healthier then overt-heating of the oily fats..which is known to create carcinogens. you can
