not to sound harsh, but out of curiosity...is there a reason you cannot chew throughly? if so...you have my support in blending..my only response was against the argument that blending somehow makes things more digestable..which it does not...IMO nothing ever leaves my throat but watery liquid, whether i'm eating fruits or greens....dunno

yep..most gurus..no matter how flighty and out-there - or conversely - grounded (to science or whatever - in Graham's case....all rely quite heavily on empirical evidence. (whether they look to nutrition science/ biological similarities ot primates----or dark matter telescopes and blood tests or whatever. Some I think are probably quite keen to other truths..but the information they supply is

43,000 tons less pigs, and 20,000,000 fewer killed chickens...is ginormous progress. wow even reading that stat...how ridiculous large it is...that those are the numbers -reduced..and for such a small country....should be enough to convince many others as well.

I heard about these guys that are now airlifting fresh durian although I kinda lost interest in it...but I could ask the guy again who told me. the NYC map is a bit uninspiring...as half the places have closed. Although most of them were run by the same guy...i think. Someone published once..all the public restrooms in NYC, but i havn't seen it circulating in some time...would certainly

I agree..the most facinating concept - to me - is the ability for US having the 'evolutionary' ability to set the stage for what is acceptable...for whatever other folks - or members of the animal kingdom or whatever - that might have the ability to shift their paradigm to our example. at some point. Its like...you can see yourself in nature, or you can change YOUR nature..and thus change natu

sure...thats actually what I think. the idea that 'processing' isn't on equal footing 'refining' in terms of what constitutes 'nutrition'...is absurd. Firstly, the idea about what is natural, or what steps are needed to create natural health and vitality is subjective. 'exercise' isn't nautral, its just diciplined activity. With juicing..people can get their nutrients..and some calories et

no, I am not a person of religion I wasn't skeptical of the planet being well over 300 million years old so I don't think that classifies me as a creationist. when you are saying with confidence that something that occured 300 million years ago 'they didn't just jump into existance', when we - as a consciousness (in our present form) have only existed for 10's of thousands, it sounds to me

sorry, this got moved and I forgot about it I have studied evolution, and do have some legitimate science background..but to me it just isn't all that interesting the real scientific method is observation...most science lost sight of that long time ago. I think aqua's spanking is in line with my thinking that from the research I have done into evolutionary theory's origins, It is very cl

Wallace the types of questions you are asking are really good ones even Graham himself says one has to tweak or tailor to fit there are reasons for the garlic thing, the seaweed thing, etc.but ultimately you have to make your own choices. Some of them make sense, for as your body cleans out..it becomes far more sensitive to the 'medicinal' stuff..even the more bitter tender greens in my

Just to clarify - diversity of species from common ancestors..probably true... - species 'changing in time' from less complex (primoridal beings) to ones of greater complexity....no doubt IMO - because of "natural selection"...not at all true IMO - biological need for certain foods based on a 'common ancestor'..pure speculation...and based on people's experiences of NOT eati

Its my understanding that when people say that don't believe in "the theory of evolution" they mean specifically in Darwin's theory of Evolution and Natural Selection. I include myself in that group What David Wolfe and others I think are getting at, is not that species haven't developed over time...but that there are significant gaps or leaps in development..and that there are no

some people can heal of certain ailments just by removing certain culprits completely, like dairy in a vegan/macro type diet. Although anything but a simple 100% raw diet probably won't get down to the deep deposits (unless one is some kind of transcendent super being of sorts, heh) and inevitably some disease/debilitation will result. a raw cleansing diet, will release all these old deposits

I've read most of the back posts on the subject..anyone have any personal experience? honestly, I don't have the means to drop on dues unless I knew i'd be placed somewhere that works for me. my thinking is either Southern California or Florida from January-> or if anyone just simply knows good folks with a fruit farm/lodging I work out like a horse, and know all kinds of stuff!

I agree that EXCESS is the cause of all disease, which is why animals - being absent from such excess - live fine within the law of nature and have no need of medicinal practices or therapies of any kind. humans - to put it bluntly - have a s#!^^y history and need to reverse their state of health, therefore any tools that they can employ that can help create and sustain good habits are GOOD, t

I had concord grapes today. I usually eat the seedless ones just out of economy, but I have no sugar issues. the concord ones I find slip right out of the skin, so I kinda of just let them 'dissolve' in my mouth and end up spitting out a big chunk of skins and seeds. personally I'm not a big fan of eating any skins or seeds of fruits, chewing seeds is generally not such a great idea and

how could you cheat without consequences? ha! I don't see how anyone else can make you veer from the path that YOU want, seems pretty impossible to me. Maybe you want their acceptance more at this momement, nothing wrong with that, but perhaps thats the part to focus on and not your 'fanaticism' which, once again is a label that only has meaning in comparasion to what 'everyone else' is doing.

if I had the option NOT to eat..I would certainly take it today I ate grapes after yoga -> a long morning bike ride, and then another 2lbs or so at lunch time (my job is also quite physical). After work I was far too blissed out to think much about eating. It certainly beats worrying about 'what to do' eating or otherwise personally I don't think the process of eating/chewing is a chore

emotions thoughts hands down but people should probably focus on the refined/process sugars and starches and dairy, then meats. After that is when it gets messy but if one has an underlying MOTIVATION and does things slowly, its quite manageable. If one wants to detox quickly, they will probably have to put in TONS of work and use a variety of TOOLS and METHODS to refrain

I don't think there is any big conspiracy like that Mislu IM-Observation theres a certain change in consciousness (globally) that has allowed for the wisdoms of raw food eating/healthful living on a larger scale. There were - in my readings - probably more close practictioners in the ancient West (Pythagoras, Seneca) then the east, for numerous factors (some discussed in recent TCM bashing thr

haha, i'm sure you were LaV! the writer who got his start re-inventing Swamp Thing is no other than Alan Moore, who went on to write Watchmen, From Hell, League of Extraordinary Gentleman, and V for Vendetta, recognizable to some as major motion pictures. He's pretty much the most celebrated in the biz, and tends to despise his films, although Watchmen just started filming by the guy that did

DavidZaneMason had a good post recently on making your own dehydrator system without equipment...personally I think a good route is to get very comfortable with leaving everyth
