do you think you are going to change your diet now? i'm getting confused on what to do. i've heard that it does take some time for your body to adjust to eating this healthy. do you think it could be the amount of fiber that is in fruit that makes you bloated? i get real bloated if i eat a lot of veggies. ?????????????????????????????? sharlla, i'm like you. i love fruit and don't like veggies too much. how long have you been feeling bloated, tired, and headachey? i've just started eating mostly fruits and i do feel a little lethargic and irritable but that's probably from my time of the month. i hope. now i'm a little scared. what to do? Hi GuyJeb, i totally understand what you are going through. It's very difficult to go raw when there aren't many accessible raw restaurants or stores to find the food. and it's expensive. maybe just try it little by little until you feel you can go 100% raw. i myself have been struggling with it but i believe in the raw way of eating and will someday be 100%. even if you jsut do 1 meal a day raw

Ok DavidZ. I'm going to try, for at least 3 months, to eat mainly fruit. I may throw some veggie in there at times but i'd rather eat fruit. I'm with you on the garlic and spinach idea for 3 days. i'd rather not. i guess i'll see in a few months! thanks davidz. Laura T

Wow coconutcream. I've heard that the more fruit you eat, the more you'll maintain or gain weight. it's kind of frustrating when you hear a million different things about what should work or not. confused i am! Laura T

Thanks Kwan, that sounds good. how long do you fast and when you are done, do you just go back to eating what you were eating before? Have you started your fast? I noticed you said you were going to start last night. thanks, Laura T

i would love to start this with you but i'm afraid to do it. i know myself and if i only drink water for days, i'll binge on anything i can get my hands on. any suggestions to avoid the "binge".

rawgosia, i agree with you. when i eat cooked foods, i feel terrible. when i eat fruit, i feel great. everything else tastes weird when i eat all fruit and some veggies. i just hope eating mostly fruits is ok for weight issues. what about fish oil supplements? those are supposed to be good for you right?

personally, i love raw almond butter from a health store near by. not sure of the brand but i love it. i haven't tried to make anything like that myself but the stuff i buy is great. i like using it with bananas, celery, or even in a smoothie. yummy

i've heard a couple different degrees to not cook food. i've heard nothing over 118 dgs, then 115, then 110, now 105. does anyone know what it really is? thanks, Laura

HAHA! that's funny davidz. for myself, i tend to be constantly munching on fruit or veggies throughout the day to keep from being hungry. i don't know if that's the right thing to do but for me to not "binge" on cooked foods due to being very hungry, i have to always be munching. ?????

that's a very interesting website. i'm a beginner and it's great to hear that it takes time for your body to detox and become accustom to the raw way. it's been rough for me but i'm still trying.

personally, i hate taking any kind of medication. i try not to take it unless absolutely neccassary. but to each their own. whatever makes you feel better i suppose. i like to think the right types of food can be the best way to make you feel better but it doesn't always work right away. i guess we have to be patient. i don't know, i think i'm just rambling on. haha
