Of course it's OK.

It's not all raw, that's all.

Cooked beans are good for you compared to cooked meat or cheese. I can only speak for myself in saying that cooked beans don't feel as good when I eat them as raw nuts and seeds, raw fruits, or raw veggies.

This is a great transitional raw diet, much cleaner than what I did. I slowly transition from cooked to raw over 6 months, and I was eating SAD when I started, and still eating SAD for the non-raw part until I transitioned. Also, I didn't get started on 80-10-10 until 6 months of being all raw, and then it took me 2 years to get to under 10% fat.

So you are doing quite well.

Most people experiment a little to see how they feel eating this or that.

If you feel good eating this way, and if you eat this same way the rest of your life (and if you don't overeat, and if you exercise), you'll probably make it to a healthy 100!

Then again, if you think it's possible to feel even better, you might try something else occasionally, and see how you do. smiling smiley

spekgirl,

Don't be in such a hurry to be 100% raw. Find out what works for you, and make progress over a series of weeks or months or years, not days. Your body is used to a lifetime of cooked foods, and there is a lot of healing that needs to happen, and you need to get adjusted to the new feelings and awareness as your body heals.
