Fat Content of Almond Milk

Date: January 28, 2007 12:29PM Does anyone know roughly the fat content of almond milk (made with 1 cup of almonds to 3 cups of water)?
It's very tasty stuff added to fruit smoothies but with all the cautions about too much fat is it a really bad idea? Re: Fat Content of Almond Milk

I think 20% is better than 40% for cancer risks and it would be difficult to meet but not exceed 20% on a diet that included frequent consumption of nut milks. But, try a variety of fat levels to see what works for you. In 30 years we might know for certain how much and what types of fats are ideal for human consumption and under what conditions.
