Green smoothies in fall/winter

Date: October 10, 2007 02:32PM I'm mourning the end of local peach season here in BC. I was putting them in green smoothies with banana all summer long; before that it was berries with banana. Now I'm at a loss for what to put in my green smoothies that I am so addicted to! Here's my thing: I NEED banana in the morning, but combined with a lighter fruit; pears and apples are too heavy with banana, and I don't like frozen fruit in my smoothie. Picky, picky, I know...but does anyone have any fruit combo ideas? Thanks! Re: Green smoothies in fall/winter

Date: October 30, 2007 01:19AM Pears get me by in the winter--smooth and just the right amount of sweet. Also consider loading up on a bushel or more of peaches next summer and freezing them to extend them through the winter.
I wrote about this on my web site, greensmoothiegirl.com. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
