Ive got a similar space, but its full shade all of the time, with very little growing there but a few weeds, no grass... its about 3x6 ft, If mint could grow there, that would be cool... mint and spruce tip tea is yummy ^_^ and really high in vitamin C!!!

I would like some advice on the safest/easiest ways to sprout quinoa without a sprouter, as for some reason, somebody broke into my home last night, stole the little ghetto rigged sprouter I had built, along with around $30, my tv remote, a couple pillows, various food from my fridge, and my rain jacket... Im thinking lots of drugs may have been involved,lol... Thanks ahead of time for any advice

I think its just nifty... it also saves the time youd have to spend cleaning your blender carafe, cause you just blended the stuff in the container your going to store it in... all in all, it doesn't save much time, but its cool, and kinda fun,lol...

Heya suncloud, My LDL when first tests was around 20 I believe, but that was many years ago, it still dips down that low if I dont take the cod liver oil, and i get sick again, It wasnt my DR here in town who originally diagnosed me with it, he sent me to another person, which im not sure if he was a lipidologist, but ALLOT of blood tests where done, also when searching on the internet, I couldn

actually its really weird Tamukha, my dr said its even more strange because my dad has really high levels of LDL cholesterol, while my mother has low, but still not very low, although it is important to point out that both of them eat ALLOT of high cholesterol foods... fast food makes up most of their diet:/... and they both refused genetic testing, as its rather expensive, guess it doesnt really

LOL... uh, nice articles... If my camera hadnt been stolen, id take a video of my blender doing its job, and doing it better than youd obviously ever believe... and since my blender will most likely be around for a long long time, as it already has been, when I do get access to a decent camera in the future, I will make a video for you about my cheap blender that will blow your mind ^_^

thanks newhoove, yeah I love that old guy, i was sad to find that he lived a 20 minute drive away from me up till his death, and I never had the opportunity to know him, he was a really great man, thats my favorite book of his as well, and the first one I ever read, I found it in the bargain bin at a used book store, asked them how much they wanted for it, she said it was $1, I only had like $.87

Im a pretty open guy, so no, its not intrusive, I brought it up so its only fair you ask, Familial hypobetalipoproteinemia (homozygous) my Dr. said it was the worst case he had ever even heard of, which at least in my opinion is most likely because I had never had my cholesterol checked, in fact, It was only checked then because of how sick I was, and they couldnt find anything at first, and he

except I have NOD32 which has a 100% catch rate with less than 10% of the false positives of its closest competitor, and mine flags that site as well... it may not be anything really damaging to your computer, but at the very least it loads ad-ware or spy-ware...

Interestingly enough, your still dehydrating with heat when you use those, I use a large box fan, and 4 cotton based furnace filters, so its only air doing the drying, no heat involved, and the flavors of what i dried stayed the same as if they where fresh, just a more concentrated flavor... works awesome with herbs! It should be noted that to use this method, you need to get filters that are

the more full it is, the fresher the coconut, the brown ones are just ones that have had their outer husks removed, it reduces the cost of shipping, but they dont stay fresh for as long, so the more liquid in it, the fresher it is...cant beat the flavor of super fresh ones, but hey, the $15 price difference seems worth it to me...

First, thanks for the link loeve, secondly, thanks for the link katz, but im always skeptical of any ancient studies done by people who didnt have even close to the technology needed to be able to even really tell what they where doing half the time, not to mention the fact that studies didnt have to withstand anywhere near the scrutiny they do now, and that dont include any modern studies to bac

Yeah, normal acrylic shouldnt reduce decibels that much, especially since that doesnt look very thick, you could make a box, line it with cork, then if you still wanted to be able tosee what was going on inside, make a small window on he door made out of acrylic so you can see in, but most of the sound would still be dampened, you could do that for $20 or less depending on the availability of mate

one important thing to do if your growing something and want the seed to stay true and are afraid of it mixing with something else, at least with flowers, as soon as the flower would open enough to make it possible, id pollinate the flower manually, then cover it in a re-usable muslin tea bag so no bees or whatever can get in to get more pollen in to it... with flowers you do that to you can know

yeah, there is one like that here, never knew what it was, but it didn't have the strong oniony garlicky smell of the normal ones, so I never ate any of them, the wild onions I have are one of the only things I can get to grow here at my new place,lol... and they dont seem very tough to me, but maybe I'm just used to them as Ive been eating them since I was a kid!!! lol...I also slice them reall

No sunny windows at home where im living now, and there was a community garden, but it got shut down because people kept vandalizing it, When i was down in santa cruz visiting a friend, it was wonderful, there was so much fresh veggies and fruit, It was like heaven,lol... but meat was still cheaper, even there not a single veggetable was less than a $1 a pound, oranges where $.50 a pound though..

well, as far as the cost goes, I know for a fact it isnt cheaper, as im the one currently having to balance that cost, at least with whats currently available to me, and I live on less than half the food budget per month than anyone I currently know, chicken costs me on average less than $1 a pound, I have about 50 pounds left in my freezer right now that I got at 67 cents a pound a little over a

Im not so sure of that, see ive been around farms all my life, ive seen animals slaughtered, and ive seen animals hunted, and ive seen animals kill other animals, if I had to choose between the 3 id rather go to the slaughter house... at least the ones IVE seen, I know there are some people out there that are really horrible to their animals... but in the end, im made of meat, if a mountain lion
