I know exactly what luvyuu is talking about because i've had bad experiences with pumpkin seeds to the point of missing work. But, it's not just pumpkin seeds. I found if I ate too much nut/seeds and in bad food combining ways I would get the sulfur taste in my burps along with diarrhea. I attribute it to food combining and/or too much consumption of fat heavy foods. I have not done much

If you are in the Atlanta area, I just ate at the Lov'n it Live restaurant in East Point. Amazing! It is unfortunate that so much of raw restaurants menus are so fat based. Much better then nothing at all.

By living by example and not preaching. People have to choose to change and preaching in my experience has pushed others away. Look for small changes you notice in the ones around you. Maybe it has affected them. They may not become raw vegans, but any little counts.

I've never felt so satisfied in my life. Being raw is the greatest thing I've ever done for myself. My dietary WANTS are gradually meeting up with my NEEDS. Like Jgunn says, don't force yourself to eat anything. For me, I just stick with what tastes and feels good. Now, I like the flavor of onions, but they also gave me digested problems. So, I nixed them and hardly miss the flavor.

I've been off fats for 2 1/2 months now. I have been eating an avocado on average of about 1 a month. Last winter was really tough on me and I decided this winter I was going to try some different things. A high percentage of the calories I was taking in were fats, so I was going to try and move away from that to see if I felt any better this winter. I've been basically doing an 80/10/10

Hello sunlightoncloudy day, I feel rather isolated myself here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I don't know too many others who are raw vegan other then on the web. Every time I go to Minneapolis I make sure I stop at the Ecopolitan. That's a good raw restaurant. I recommend the Spicy Thai. And burr, it is cold. I am so much colder than prior to raw, but it's been well worth it. Pri

I'm not going to say much more than what has already been said, but since going low fat I feel even better then when I initially went raw and lost 100 lbs.

I've been having issues with clogged nasal passages especially when going to bed, and can't decide if its something in the house. I live in a basement. I've been eating 80/10/10 for about 3 weeks now and have been raw for 18 months. Maybe my lungs are just that filthy. I've read how pineapple is suppose to be good for cleaning the air passages due to the enzyme bromelain (sp?) and I do ea

I've been doing 80-10-10 for a little over 2 weeks now and have noticed nothing but benefits. Its actually been closer to 90-5-5. I've had no hair problems and lost about 12 lbs. As for supplements, I very rarely take a vegan b12 sublingual. If you want to check out my fitday go here: I've never read Dr. Graham's book and I'm guessing I'm not following his regimen closely. I'm not

Are you sure you're 99.9%? I believe when people speak in percentages they're discussing calorie count. Frozen fudge treats I would suspect has ALOT of calories. Some of it could be your history/health and it might take longer.

327. sea salt
I don't normally use sea salt but I decided to try it for a couple of days on cucumbers. I noticed I don't like the effect on my ability to taste and I gained some weight even though I've been taking in less calories. Is that water retention? Needless to say, I won't be adding sea salt any time soon.

I'm a media production major under Journalism. When I started, all was fine(desensitized). After a year in school I started raw and now I've entered a sort of personal life crisis and I can't handle the news anymore and need to change, not only in major but in current job, living conditions, and people I surround myself with. Like some have posted already,it's depressing as hell and I can't
