Just curious, what caused your skin to change from pale to the skin color it is today?

My first post in months and it's about oral sex. LOL I love variety. I consider oral sex delicious, not dirty.

My mother looks 20 years younger than her biological age of 73. I attribute it to her indigenous genetics. She has more facial fat than most people her age which makes for smoother skin appearance. She has the full and round face that is common among Amerindians (much like Navajo and Apache Indians). I inherited my father's Middle Eastern genetics so I have less facial fat, higher cheekbones,

How realistic is it of us to expect mature raw foodists to always look younger than their biological age? We all age, regardless of our diets, even those on S.A.D age. Maybe Doug Graham's arteries are clear and elastic, so, who cares if his face shows wrinkles, sagging, and all other signs of aging? Aging happens. We are still imperfect humans prone to disease and aging. Viktoras Kulvinskas w

I might be eating a wider variety of foods. Maybe that makes a difference. I don't eat dehydrated fruit, only fresh. Today, I've had three red grapefruits, 7 navel oranges, two large green salads with pumpkin seeds and lime juice, 4 bananas, 1 pear, 1 gala apple, jicama with lemon juice, and 2 vegetable juices. Today is my rest day meaning no workouts. I eat less on those days. The

@ Geo, Thank you. I love my tat. @ Cherimoya Kid, My anxiety attacks disappeared shortly after I went raw. In fact, the attacks went away within just a few weeks of eating high raw and I've never had them again since, and I had them since my pre teens. It was one of the first major improvements that I posted about here when I first joined the community. Your experience on 80/10/1

La Veronique, I've been trying to figure out the same. My daughter's favorite green is spinach but because of the oxalates concerns I've been trying to get her to use other greens. She only likes spinach and romaine.

@ cherimoya kid, I'm not ignoring you. My diet is my own. I am following what feels right to me and what has given me the best results. If I reach a point where I have to tweak my diet because of adverse effects, than I will do just that. Not everyone on 80/10/10 has had the same experience you had. Everybody is different. That is why I started this thread, so we can exchange our experie

@ Paul, I'm just now at 2 months of eating 80/10/10 but that picture was taken after only 5 weeks into it. The stubborn fat just disappeared. I'm still amazed.

I tried one but it was not the miracle cure I thought it would be. I eat so much fiber on an 80/10/10 diet which keeps me clean and in a constant state of slow detox. I also found juice fasting to be effective for detoxification.

Thank you for that link. I just sent it to my brother who has Type 2 Diabetes. He tried an all plant based diet for 5 weeks and saw a marked improvement in his blood sugar, but then, much to my disappointment, he quit. Now he's back to eating high fat and the doctor just added another meds to lower his sugar. If I had Diabetes I would jump at the opportunity to remove the cause naturally.

The only time my two Boxers try and lick me to death is after I slather my skin with coconut oil or olive oil. I wonder why your dogs are attracted to your pulse? I think we emit odors from all of our pores. At least, that is my theory. My dogs don't like anyone intoxicated which I believe the smell of alcohol is released through the pores. Now please indulge us dog lovers and post a p

So far, I feel great on 80/10/10. My athletic performance is through the roof. My obliques are showing now that my tummy fat is down. I'm in the best shape of my life and with less training than before. I also notice I lose less hair in the shower. My skin is neither dry nor oily but just right for once. Unlike my girl friends, I am not experiencing the annoying symptoms that come with menop

I use a Blendtec but will probably be purchasing a Vitamix in the very near future. My Blendtec has issues. The power button has a short and the digital display does not work. My neighbor bought a Vitamix and I love using it. I make us smoothies in his Vitamix and it works way better than the Blendtec in my opinion.

Thank you for the reply Jgunn. I think I might have lowered my fat intake too abruptly and probably should have weaned myself off of it more gently. I think that is what triggered the cooked food cravings. Regardless, I am so pleased with the results that I'm sticking with it. I'm going to up the greens and see if that helps stave off the cravings.

I am curious to know how many of you are following 80/10/10 or have tried it. I would also appreciate it if you would share your experiences. I'm seeing great results so far. My body fat is way down, closer to where I want it to be. After years of unsuccessfully trying to achieve flatter abs through raw diet and exercise, I finally can see a major improvement. I really had to look at my

I'll use my own experience here: My husband "tried" to love me but he couldn't make it happen. It was just not in him to love me. He is not a loving person by nature. Because he did not love me, it was easy for him to be mean and angry towards me. I, on the other hand, love without trying. It's my natural state of being. So, thankfully, I was able to love myself enough to leave

I've been wondering about this myself. I am 49 and can't explain my increase in libido while most of my friends are complaining about a decrease in their drives. You know how us females are always talking and comparing! Evidently, I want it more often than my friends do and I also achieve more orgasms than they do. We are all in the same age group. I am raw and they are not. I also haven'

I had that once. The official doctor's diagnosis in my case was "bola nervosa," or something like that. It was caused by stress. I didn't have health insurance and had to pay for the visit and the xray to find out that it was stress causing me that feeling. I started doing yoga and it went away. My daughter had some painful sores appear on her throat every time she fasted. It

Februarygirl, Congrats on feeling better. As far as exercise is concerned, I always recommend starting small. Twenty minutes of cardio daily to start. Then start alternating days of cardio with strength training or sculpting with light weights. In time you can increase to 30 minutes of cardio and strength still alternating the two. In time, you can increase cardio to 45 minutes and ke
